Today after traveling from lunch back to my place to teach a private student tonight, i asked my mum if she had received the big bag of goodies i bought from Bali to them. On Sunday wanted to pass it to my dad personally, but only my brothers were around. So i instructed them who's getting wat.

Another relaxing day after busy day 3. We took a cab back to Discovery Mall again, and i wanted to buy a Batik cloth like how they wrap it to become a dress; quite cheap. Think we swam again then went out for late lunch, was starving by then. This time had lunch 2 doors away from Bali Colada at Baroque Cafe as suggested by Mr Cloudz. Quite nice interior design. This was a busy day. After our Indonesian breakfast (i had chicken porridge, and Mr Cloudz had noodles; and we decided American breakfast was better), i brought the phone numbers copied from SGbrides.com forum on Bali drivers to the reception and asked them to talk to the driver if he could pick us at 1130am. It was already ard 1020am. Fortunately, the driver Dewa was free and he arrived slightly earlier.

Had our 1st American breakfast in the villa cooked inhouse b4 dipping into the pool for the 1st time. It was ICY COLD, though it was very sunny. So had to walk slowly and shiver. Since they say swimming is good for preggies like me, decided to brave the cold and swim a few small laps in the small pool.
We then asked the hotel staff where to go, the guy told us Discovery shopping mall at Kuta area which was facing the beach directly. We bought LOTS of souvenirs along the way. B4 tat had lunch at a restaurant Bali Colada which was quite nic...Read more
Hi, just got back from Bali. The 5 days really flew past very quickly especially when having a vacation. Will post day 1 to 5. Day 3 was the most tiring since we had our own day tour by hiring our own driver. Walked and climbed a lot.
Day 1: Reached Denpasar airport on 13th May 2008 Tuesday at about 7 plus at night hence 1st day was considered gone. Was super late for my gynae appointment as usual...yes coz of Skype, my chat buddies would know here...and i made a shocking discovery today, i didnt know Mr Cloudz' laptop has a built in mic till RAINA or Damian heard me coughing...and i was 'forced' to use my voice...so appt was like 710pm, and 720 i was still online...

Yes, Mr Cloudz have finally sealed/booked the accomodation of Bali today. Last week went to Garuda Airlines office to buy the air tickets which were on promotion
Really cheap man! The two tickets' total cost is less than 1 person's SIA ticket price to Bali, including taxes! Got a great deal. Initially Mr Cloudz wanted SIA since Garuda had air crashes b4, but i guess they have stepped up their safety measures slightly, and the prices are too good to resist.
