Great lunch cooked by younger bro

13 commentsJust had a very nice lunch prepared by my 19 year-old younger bro. He actually went to the market to buy all the ingredients. Whipped up 3 dishes of Cereal oat prawns, baby kailan with shitake mushrooms and my fav ginseng chicken soup! Ate lunch later than them so had to reheat the food. The prawn oats was slightly soggy due to the passing of time i guess, but otherwise tasty. Kailan and mushroom were very tasty. But the best was the chicken soup!!! Chicken was tender and the soup was sweet!! Had 2 servings of the soup...He's fast asleep now, must be tired out after the cooking. Will let him know he had done a great job.
Purpose of him cooking today was to prepare for this Fri cooking for his gf's family! So smart...use us as guinea pigs haha, but it was good la.
Sigh, i never attempted to cook chinese dishes before, guess will have to take pointers from him...heee
