Sushi and pound cake

I had Sushi like this for lunch today. However it was a cheap one...actually I bought it when I went to a supermarket around noon.haha Of course it's not that any sushi in Japan are cheap like this!!Of course it's not that any sushi in Japan are cheap like this.If you'll go to a sushi shop in Japan in the future, watch inside of the shop very carefully.Let's just say that if you noticed there is no prices on the menu,I think you should leave the shop as soon as possible!!!

Well,we had some business visitors today as usual, and some of them visited us with a few hospitality gifts.

One of them gave us a few pound cakes which are famous in Kyoto. This moist pound cake is matcha flavor, that's why this is green!!

For your information, check the link below out if you're interested in some Japanese sweets and Japanese teas.Their shops are near Byodo-In temple. If you have a sweet tooth, needless to say you should be dropping by their shop if you have an opportunity to visit Byodo-In temple in the future.

伊藤久右衛門(Ito Kyuemon) (※All of sentences in this website are written in Japanese. But you'll be able to enjoy seeing the pictures of various kinds of Japanese sweets and Japanese teas even if you can't understand those sentences.)

Haha Reni likes the pound cake! We have a similar version here but it is with pandan (a kind of leaves) flavour. Soft and fluffy nice but high in flour, eggs, and sweet.

How do you tell a maki from a sushi? Your lunch looks like a maki to me.
