I visited Manpukuji temple (萬福寺) in November 2011.
Mampuku-ji is located south of Kyoto in Uji (宇治), and the temple is famous for its pine trees and architecture !

I went to Arashiyama(嵐山) and Koryu-ji temple(広隆寺),Uzumasa Eiga mura(太秦映画村) in Kyoto!These places has been a well-known tourist attraction!

BTW,the Nio are a pair of two guardians who stand guard outside the temple gate at most Japanese temples, one on either side of the entrance.
And "Eiga mura" is known as Kyoto Studio Park and Toei Movie Land!
