    I'm in Beijing to cover the Olympics! Wow, das kapital has changed so much since I was last here about a year ago. But how many of the changes are merely cosmetic? I hope I have time to blog my thoughts on this matter soon, but I'm working about 15 hours a day in the foreseeable future. Catch me outside the Bird's Nest on the news on the day of the opening ceremony, 8/8, TVB Pearl, 7:30pm. Actually I'll be reporting live from BJ everyday until the closing day, the 24th. Let's meet up if you happen to be here. I need somebody to show me where to grab a beer, and I also need to do some stories on the new music scene up in here!

    Fo' real, waking up at 8am everyday and not getting back until 2am is kinda draining. But it's worth it. Saw the fireworks today, they were HOT! But I hope I don't get arrested since I'm usually taking the piss out of the mighty Communist machinery in my stories. My video editor just called me the most sarcastic son of a bitch in our company. In a good way. I think.

    When do u come back to HK? Too bad Larry's not gonna be out in Beijing anymore or else he'll catch a beer with u.

    YOu should meet up with Wu di while you are there (user name "invincibleadi".  He can help you with both the beer and the music questions.   Plus he's a nice guy to know in Beijing.
