Any racing fans out there? This past weekend I was in Chengdu where I got to hang out with some of my good actor and music friends. Of course I can't drive a race car, but Aaron Kwok pretty much won every round. Doesn't matter though, we were out there to have some fun. At the end FRD Motorsports donated 500,000RMB to us. This is our 3rd year partnering with them. They've been working with us at the One Foundation since the beginning, and a lot of our momentum in the beginning was due to them.

At the event, everyone, including the audience, raised their phones and donated one or two renminbi to the One Foundation by texting "1" or "2" to 1069999309. You can do this do if you are in Mainland China.

Hope you like the pics! All you racing fans out there let me know if you're a racer and what kind of racing you like to do.

  • 2009 Taiwan Deaflympics!
     |  |  )

    Friday, Sep 11, 2009 7:30PM / Standard Entry / The One Foundation

As my friends in Taiwan may know, I attended the 2009 Deaflympics Opening Ceremony in Taipei on September 5th, and it was a blast. So much pride, fun, and fireworks, it was more than you could ask for any ceremony. Not to mention, my friend, the famous and acclaimed theatre director Stan Lai directed and ran the show. I got to hang out with him and his friends the whole night. I even had the pleasure of meeting Christine Chow, the First Lady of Taiwan.

It was a great time, and congratulations to Taiwan for pulling this off and also coming together as One Family after Morakot.

My segment was after Amei's spectacular performance, and then after the whole "Taiwanese Food Culture" performance where people dressed up as noodles, beef, and tofu and then danced altogether, eventually jumping into huge balloons made to resemble soup and mango ices.

I delivered my segment with true heroes 徐仁輝、徐仁明、賴孟傳、柯信雄 (Hsu Ren-Hui, Hsu Ren-Ming, Lai Meng-Chuan and Ke Shin-Shiung). These four saved over 130 lives in the wake of Morakot, and have gotten a lot of attention in Taiwan for their bravery, perseverance, and will to save their neighbors. 3 of them are actually from the national parachuting troop. Fantastic guts.

Lots of photos, did anyone get to see this in person or on TV? Let me know! And let me know if you see your own country represented in the pictures somewhere...

  • Expendables Teaser Picture
     |  |  )

    Saturday, Aug 29, 2009 2:11PM / Standard Entry / Expendables

As you may remember I shot the film "The Expendables" back in May and June of this year. Really excited about this film of course, since it's my first time working with Sylvester Stallone, who wrote, directed, and starred.

Be prepared for a huge action flick with lots of bare knuckle fights, shootouts, and explosions.

Also in this one are Jason Statham, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, Dolph Lundgren, Steve Austin, Mickey Rourke, and Gary Daniels.

Hope you guys like the teaser one-sheet for my character.
