Things have been well on my end despite the fact that financially...well things are not so hot but that doesn't stop me from loving my job and my life as it is now.

Sure there's always room for improvement but overall...I want to bottle this contentment for a time because I know soon enough things will be bad again and there I will be alas curled fetal style all over shaking in bed.

Did a 2nd version of Jae-ho for a Christmas present. Uhhh....I didn't say that's what it was but I wanted to FINALLY take the time to do so before the end of the year.

Just my luck, I have no internet access in my home. No biggie, it's kind of liberating. That in turns brings me to the one and only Starbucks on the shoreline of CT.

It can be hard to work at times if I'm doing artwork as that can spark some well-meaning people. Sometimes I get tips and sometimes I get fluff talk.

Last night I was surrounded by 12 high school football players who were debating what to do in this podunk town. I half-listened and suddenly heard one kid call another, "Fatass!!!" and then tubby tony weighing in at 275 pounds got up from his seat and just kind of smashed his body against the thin kid who ripped on him. That ensued more chaos and that ensued a skinny 16 year-old hitting my table and knocking my coffee over.

I actually was laughing, coffee be damed, it was too weird.
I just gave him my stare of , "I'm a 30 year old woman and I will eat you for breakfast"
NO not sexual....more like I can finally face those creeps from high school and scare them off....or flash them and claim that I slept with their fathers.

Kidding!!!!!

I had always joked that all my exes (literally) could be found on IMDB.

I always harbored a playful resentment that I worked in the industry too but my name never came up.

Apparently I was typing in the wrong name.

I always typed "Jennifer May" and ended up getting Jenna Elfman's bio. Boo.

Then I forgot that at the studio I worked at I was called "Jen May".

A sorta-kinda nickname that has stuck since sixth grade. When you're in a class of six other Jennifers people learn to adjust.
