Ma Liang, also known as Maleonn (1972 Shanghai), is a talented Shanghai photographer graduated from the Fine Arts College of Shanghai University in 1995. Ma Liang studied graphic design, and it shows in his works, which blend new style with a look and feel of old photographic images, when colors were unrefined. He lives and works in Shanghai. His images, in color and black and white, are often created with props, actors and a strange mix of hues, colors and theatrical sets.

马良1972年生于上海，1995年于上海大学美术学院的平面设计专业毕业，随后从事广告影片的美术指导和导演工作，在2004年开始从事独立的艺术创作，迅速成为中国备受重视的观念摄影师。马良在世界各地多次举行摄影展览，包括美国、法国、英国等，他的观念摄影作品也曾被国际性画廊收藏，受到摄影界的广泛关注

yo jeff.. can still submit work even tho you've been in before (espy if its on a different tip).. same criteria apply - not guaranteed inclusion in the next issue but will always be considered, depending mostly on what other material we have... so keep it comin...

I like your quest to see fashion photography with a fresh eye. That's a tough task, though, since so much of "art photography" is being co-oped for fashion work these days so that to do something truly original, and that still works to promote the fashion, is getting harder and harder. Keep looking for that path that others have not taken.
