I’m back in Indiana for a concert and a week of way too much food. Life is good.
If you’re in the midwest, come out for a chill set of songs at Miller Chapel on the Anderson University campus. We’ll get started around 7:30p.

If you live in Hong Kong and you’re one of the many people who have been asking where you can find my CDs in physical form, there is finally an answer.
White Noise Records

You can order CDs online or you can simply go to their store in Causeway Bay, just around the corner from Times Square. What Birds Dream is just $80 and Changing Everything: What Birds Dream [Remixed] is $70.

Wow, it’s been too long since a live show. We’re back at it on September 4th here in Hong Kong at the Fringe Club. Facebook Event here!

For all of you who have emailed me wondering where to get my CD in Hong Kong, this is it! We’re still working on some proper distribution here, but this is the best place to come get my music.
Also, if you want to support the band in the Global Battle of the Bands competition, mark your calendar for Friday night, October 9th. We’re going to play our loudest down at the Backstage Live. More information on that coming soon!

I have no idea what this says, but I was alerted to it this week:
而他的最新個人專輯《What Birds Dream》,同樣是自資出版,同樣是承接著其深思熟類型的流行音樂路線,但跟其上張碟不同的是Jeff今趟多加了不同的音樂元素及類形。好像在〈15 Minutes Away〉、〈Reggie’s In The Window Again〉及〈Grace In The Meantime〉中,Jeff就作了一些較Upbeat的嘗試,聽起來都是充滿盼望、朝氣的。

Actually, I do know that it’s part of a good review of my new CD What Birds Dream in Traditional Chinese. But other than that, I can only recognize about 5 of these characters. If you can read Chinese (or just have a fascination about it like me) have a look at the full review here.

Well, many of you are aware that I’ve been working behind the scenes to pull together a companion project for the new CD What Birds Dream. Thanks to my brilliant friend and partner in crime, Gavin Harrison (whom I have yet to meet), you can now pick up your own copy of Changing Everything: What Birds Dream [Remixed].

Artwork produced by Luke Flowers, of course. And in addition to my voice, Gavin also made liberal use of violin parts from the always amazing Leora Gardner on 743.
I find this project exciting on a few levels. First, the arrangements are just moving. I love how Gavin takes the melody / vocal tracks of a song that I’ve produced and, with little input from me, creates something totally different and unique. The songs have a catchy, memorable quality all their own and a few that were upbeat are now downtempo and vice versa. I’m also excited by the fact that a lot of people will hear these tracks that would never stumble upon my music to begin with.
Have a listen to a couple samples in the orange playbar on jeffcaylor.com and you can compare 15 Minutes Away with the new 15 Minutes Away (Leonid’s Mix). You can also hear the remix of A Way to Say, as well. If you’d like to listen to any of my music, for free, the best place to go is grooveshark.com where you can simply search “Jeff Caylor.”
Pick up the new remix album today at the store. In a couple weeks, you’ll find it on iTunes and I’ll be selling the physical discs as well.
