Jason Tom (譚志豪) is Honolulu, Hawaiʻi's human beatbox based in Chinatown. A frequent live performer/entertainer within the poetry slam, performance, music, and art circles (i.e. First Thursdays HawaiiSlam and First Fridays at the Ong King Art Center). It is his Michael Jackson-infused vocal emulation of drum machines, percussion, drum kit, acoustic bass, and turntablism that drives him to creatively express his instrumental "voice." He's currently gearing up for live beatbox performances at local L&L Hawaiian Barbecue locations and is preparing for his trip to San Francisco for the 2009 ISA (International Secret Agents) Concert.
