    It was always my dream as an actor to do an independent film that would make it to the Sundance Film Festival and for the film to be a success there.  It all came true with Better Luck Tomorrow.  I call it the gift that keeps on giving because so many positive things have come of it even to this day. 

    The irony is that when I got the call for the audition, which was on a Sunday, I was a little annoyed that I had to cut short my Dim Sum lunch to get to it at UCLA.  But when I got the script and was offered the part, I felt lucky, to finally be part of something important. 

    Of course, then the anxiety set in when I realized that I had to pull this role off.
