as I mentioned in earliar blog, the exhibition  was held at  cityplaza in Hong Kong.To my surprize it attracted about 7 hundred thousand people in the period. thanks for coming, Judy, Kennyun and many many visitors.  very best  regards from my Mom!!! the various kimonos demonstrated on the stage are as follows.

◆Junihitoe(十二単)only worn by court-ladies. it means "twelve-layer robe"litterally, but actually it is five layered.
◆Shichi-Go-San(七五三) kimonos: it is a  festival for three and five year-old boys and three and seven year-old girls and they dress up in kimonos or dresses.
◆Haori& Hakama(羽織・袴) : traditional fomal costume including the old girls school uniform

◆Frisode(振袖):elegant long-sleeved kimono for unmarried women
    ◆Wedding kimono with formal Uchikake

To tell the truth, we had a plan to invite Scottie Hui and Ida to wear those japanese wedding costumes, but unfortunately that date wasnt good for them. next time!!

    Mindee Ong's movie "881”Tokyo Preview  17/06/2008

I went to the preview of Singaporean movie "881" in which Mindee Ong, the AnD artist, played the leading part, little papaya with Yeo Yann Yann, big papaya. It is filled with cheerful songs and dances, happiness and little sadness in the last.
A Japanese actor or a laughter often appears to the stage as a guest for foreign movies' premier. This time the laughter, Mitchey, came to support  881. He resembles Japanese cool actor/singer  Masaharu Fukuyama(福山雅治)and he mimics another person based on Fukuyama's voice. Too complex??  more about Mitchy:

The papaya sisters, Mindee and Yeo wore perplexed looks, when Mitchy took off his clothes and began to mimic another laughter, Kojima Yoshio's dance. Sorry, sisters (>_<)

Actually many Singaporean movies have not screened in Japan so far. I only watched "Forever Feever"by DVD, “Singapore Dreaming" acted by Yeo Yann Yann,at Tokyo International Film Festival, and "4:30" directed by Royston Tan. However I understand that there is a variety for Singaporean movies like "881" and "My Magic ". You should keep eyes on Singaporean films and Mindee!
