    Remember my post about shoes/boots?

Well, I finally got a chance to try on the boots at Nordstrom. And it didn't fit my calves. The guy helping me was nice. I asked him if he had anything for wide-calf. He said, "no." I told him, I'd like to put in a request for wide-calf boots because I felt left out! He laughed and told me to check the women's shoes because usually the wide-calf boots come from the comfort shoe brands like Naturalizer, etc. I checked on the Nordstrom website beforehand so I knew what he was talking about but I didn't care for any of the _limited_ styles for wide-calf. So I give up. No boots for Jane.

After no luck of finding boots, I decided that I will get the pair of Mary-Jane shoes that I liked. And sometimes waiting is good. Because the shoes went on sale this week! And my mom decided to share her gift card too. So I got away with a good deal!! OH! did I mention the shoes' insoles has memory foam!

OH! outta curiosity, anyone here tried the MBT shoes before? Any good? Is it worth the money?

The shoes aren't very "stylish" but this one is eye-catching!

Waiting does work out sometimes :)  My friend has a pair of MBT's and she says it take a little getting used to cause it sort of redistributes your weight when you walk but she says it did slim her thighs after wearing them every day for a month.  Personally I think they're too clunky.  I'm kinda interested in these - http://www.reebok.com/microsites/easytone_reebok/

I haveonly found one pair of long boots.  I've had them since HS.  I keep getting them resoled because they fit my huge calves.  I feel your pain.
I've read about MBT in an article or something (maybe a friend linked me to their site no clue) but I nor anyone I know has tried them.  Let me know how they feel if you buy them.

Totally sympathise with you over the boots fitting, I love long boots but it's nigh on impossible to get ones to fit around my calves :(

Great that you got the shoes, and the memory foam will add to the comfort.Cool.

You probably have little feet too(?). Check at Shoe Carnival (do they have that out there?) and some other places that carry a lot of sports shoes. The little feet sizes are the ones that always end up on clearance. ;) I've gotten some great shoe deal cuz I got small feet :)

I've been trying to find a pair of Skechers for weeks now but can't find them in my size.  So....I feel for ya in terms of not being able to find boots that fit.  Who do these shoes/boots actually fit?  I'd like to see those people!!!!  Bah.  Good luck, Jane!
