just curious... what do you prefer? phone or email?

today was an extremely busy day... woke up at 7:30am... ate breakfast... made two jugs of soy milk for my uncle and aunt... then had to work on the booklet for my client... emailed it along to the printers... had to help my mom do some work... at noon time, my uncle and aunt visits... had lunch... then had to work on the booklet some more b/c there were some problems at the printers... now I need a power nap before bowling tonight...

but reason for my question... I've noticed that my client loves to use the phone... he would email at times... but right after he emails, he would call me asking me if I got his latest email and then just restate everything he already put into the email... the email is like his way to telling you, "I'm calling you now..."

I'm not really a phone person... why? I don't know... I feel like I am bothering people when I call... if nothing is urgent... I'd definitely prefer email...

what about you? phone or email?

hmm not a phone girl here. I'd rather meet with people in person therefore I can see what the facial expressions are. Sometimes peoples tones are really decieving. And I don't like how my ear gets tired with the phone up against it. :p

    So answer is E-mail. :)

i mostly email, 'cos ppl aren't alway at their desk and i don't want to wait in vain listening to that "doo... doo... dooo... " sound.  if i need to talk with my client i'd schedule a meeting at his/her calendar in advance.  i also AIM a lot, the quickest way to get answers to simple questions.

Email since I'm in front of a computer most of the day. Rarely have my phone on.

for most things, i prefer email.

unless, of course, it's talking to my husband long-distance while he's traveling, or to close friends about something special. then i'd prefer the phone.

remember when we used to write letters to friends? those were the days...

depends on who and depends on the occasion... i'm good with either. i also don't mind snail mail, especially in the form of postcards, thoughtful Bday cards or a small package. =)

I communicate mostly thru email. It's time-saving and easier to be succinct...most of the time. For urgent matters, I prefer phone calls. It's not like I'm wired all day long so it's annoying when people think you got their urgent "mssg" just bc they said they emailed you. I don't have my computer/iPhone attached to my hip 24/7! Yaknow what I mean? Hm, some people do but not I.
