  You'll have to let me know how that goes (assuming you get one). Right now, I wear a big, black, man's watch. I'm hard on watches. Another quirk I guess... I've trashed...I dunno HOW MANY girl watches :(

  yup, i believe it will come around for him too. your aunt doesn't *have* to replace the fence if it was her fence--he on the other hand is required to have a fence if he has a swimming pool in the backyard. that's the law around here anyway, to prevent a kid from seeing the pool & trying to go in it & possibly drowning.
  
  he sounds like a total jerk. aargh. years ago when my dad & our neighbor wanted to fence between their property they each paid half the cost, the neighborly way to do things. that guy annoys me as you can tell lol. but for sure his choices will catch up with him so he's hurting himself most of all.

  Thanks Jane, glad you liked it :), as for 'Up' is that the pixar movie? I've been dying to watch that it looks to be their best yet,and from what you say , it sounds to have an inspiring story too.

  Public transit in NYC is so developed and convenient!! It makes the bay area very behind...but I suppose it's bc people have driveways and garages in SF. Oh, plus many cars!
  
  It was funny. We had just finished at The Metropolitan and wanted to go downtown. The nearest subway station was like 5 blocks away. We were plum tired and I suggested taking one of the many buses that go down 5th Ave (and stop right in front of the Met). Mr. P's a little uneasy, saying it's 'full of blacks.' LOL. There actually weren't any and mostly full of respectable, senior folks. Very uppity passengers by the looks some of them gave others. =)

  i was just in jrs's blog about the wind storm--what a story about the neighbor's tree knocking down your aunt's fence. i wonder what his legal obligation is to do something about it. if you guys have a code enforcement officer for the town, maybe ask about it. tree cleanup is expensive, not to mention replacing the fence even if it wasn't new. not a very neighborly neighbor, that's for sure. yikes.

  Yeah Hollywood annoys me with that.  It's not sooo bad, but can't they just get a chinese guy to play a chinese guy, or a japanese guy to play a japanese guy?  Almost every Japanese person in that movie was Korean heh.  It's not so bad since they didn't even speak Japanese once in the movie though I guess.

  How have you been doing this week?  Have you been going around snapping a lot of photos?  I kind of regret not snapping more photos during autumn when the leaves were still on the trees, now it's raining everyday and difficult to bring out the camera.  I'm always worried it will get wet.

  I think there's likely quite a few HSPs here at AnD becuz there are so many creatives. I don't totally agree with everything the author says-- she's HSP herself and seems to have trouble being objective--and I don't agree with the "minority victim status" she tries to attribute to us. I don't think you're doing yourself or other HSPs any favors by encouraging NOT trying to learn to deal. You can get used copies of the paperback cheap at Amazon.
