Almost there. Today is the 4th day. Tomorrow night I go home! WOOHOO!!! I need a good night's sleep.  I am freakin' tired.

I hope everything goes well from here on. *keeping fingers crossed*

Yesterday I was sitting at the table with my laptop facing towards the backyard while the dogs were in the other room... napping... and I saw something, from corner of my eye, dashed across the backyard. I tried to stay quiet because I don't need the dogs to go crazy. So I walked towards the backyard door. And guess what I saw?!

    A squirrel!

I had the side door open so the dogs could go in and out as they wish. The squirrel was looking in the direction of the side door.  I immediately went to close it. The squirrel watched my actions. I don't think I have ever seen a squirrel in such close distance. They are cute but I don't need to have a squirrel in the house. LOL!!! Anyways, the squirrel dashed off into a bush.

Then at night I was watching TV on the couch with the dogs. I saw something again from the corner of my eye. I looked up and sure enough there was a spider crawling on the ceiling. And as some of you may know, I have a huge fear of spiders (and any kind of insects and bees) and this spider was not small,  so I kept my eye fixed on that darn spider as it crawled around. I couldn't reach the spider and I didn't have any kind of Raid near me. I only watched the spider to make sure it didn't drop. The sucker was crawling fast too. Well the spider was never within reach so I couldn't kill it. This morning I went to look to see if it was still there. And the spider is no where to be found. Now I'm kinda freakin' out because I don't know where it is. OH crap! I just hope that the spider somehow disappeared.

And to top all this. The darn chihuahua snapped at my hand last night. Thank goodness it wasn't a bad bite. No damage to the hand even though it was throbbing last night. I am sooooo done with these dogs. Can't wait till my aunt comes home so I can come home.

We have squirrels downstairs in our complex.  They're pretty cute.  We feed them and they get kinda close which freaks me out sometimes.  I hope your hand is better now.  Bad chihuahua!

Yay by the time you read this it means your now back home!

The little Chihuahua sounds ungrateful to me, cheeky little beggar after all you've done for them. Sorry about the spider I'm sure it will off crawled back to the opening it came from during the night.

When we first brought Trinity home, she tried some bitey things. Then we learned some stuff about dog "packs," becoming the pack Alpha and keeping everyone in line.

When you're aunt is away, YOU ARE the Alpha of the pack--the top dog. Any of those dogs disrespect you, we learned your suppose to tell them, in dog language, they've displeased you.

I watched Miss Scarlett (my old beagle, RIP) do it to Trin once. Trinity cheezed her off. Scarlett, a totally sweet, non-agressive dog, grabbed Trinity by the neck and pinned her to the ground. Whoa... Scarlett held Trin there till Trin submitted. No more problems, ever, after than. I'm with RenRen, I don't like chihuahuas either. They have a serious "short dog complex." That little monster bites you again? Grab it by the neck and hold it to the floor--lay on it if you have to--till it submits.  You're not hurting it, you're teaching the dog to respect you.

I'm not afraid of spiders, I just don't like them. The broom is my friend...

Wow.  You're staying in a haunted and possessed house.  Enjoy your last night!
    Muah-hahahahahhaaaaa!!!!

Okay...just kidding!  It's not haunted....there's just an abundance of wildlife hanging around!

OH geeez! Chihuahuas can be annoying little brats. Albeit its size. LoL!
Speaking of spiders, thank god it wasn't a Tarantula or it might have been like the scenario in Home Alone. ROFL!

Ooh, ya got a sassy Chihuahua. Why did it snap at you? Ungrateful little __. haha. I don't understand the fear of spiders. They're so easy to smash which renders them that much more harmless. Next time you see one on the ceiling, throw something up at it to make it drop, then step on it. Or let the dogs eat it. lol. I don't like squirrels. They all rodents to me.

I used to think squirrels were cute until they started digging up my dad's garden and chewing their way through the huge garbage bin outside my complex :\  Not so cute anymore...
My sympathies about the crawling spidey, ew.  I had that happen once, I saw a huge spidey around the staircase and it totally grossed me out plus I had to leave or I'd be late for work, then after work I came back and it was nowhere to be found, makes you wonder where it went :\

Hang in there, one more day and you'll be home :)
