This is my first alive not dead blog entry! I'm really excited about joining this community and hooking up with all the wonderful people I met in HK recently =). My first blog will be more informational then personal but there will be more to come...!
In case any of you are in Northern Cali, the Asian American Film Festival is happening in San Francisco March 13-23.
http://festival.asianamericanmedia.org/2008/ It looks like there are going to be some fantastic movies, documentaries and even some black and whites. It's pretty exciting because some of the actors will actually be there in person. I'll probably check out West 32nd (in person: John Cho), The killing of a chinese cookie (in person: Director Derek Shimoda) and Blood Brothers (in person: Danny Wu), maybe the Closing Night Showing and Gala or party at Poleng.
Anyway, just thought I'd post this so Bay Area folks can support the Asian American arts from the Bay!
