I've always been fascinated by vampires because they are often portrayed as dark and mysterious (in films for the most part). It's fascinating that they never grow old physically. A 400 year-old vampire could look like a 12 year-old girl (e.g. Let The Right One In). Films such as Francis Ford Coppola's Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992) and Neil Jordan's Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles (1994) left a deep impression on my mind as a teenager.
There's also vampire animes such as Blood: The Last Vampire (2000) which I love. This is the film version I'm talking about, not the anime series.

Hellsing (2001) anime series which I bought but have yet to watch.

I also bought the live action film DVD for Blood: The Last Vampire that just came out this year, starring Korean female star Jun Ji-hyun as the main character Saya. I haven't watched this one yet either.

Of course I have to mention Tomas Alfredson's Let The Right One In (2008) since that's one of my top ten favourite films. I blogged about it here.

Some mysterious vampire images that I really like (images were googled up).

I think Gackt and Hyde would make beautiful vampires, if vampires do at all exist.

I'm not doing anything special for Halloween. Think I'm going to hide at home with the lights turned off so that no one rings my doorbell. Yes, I know I'm a party-pooper!
For all of you who are going to parties or trick-or-treating, have fun and stay safe!
