This film I worked on last year under the working title of Far Away Eyes, has been released in the UK on DVD under the title FOUR ASSASSINS.  The film had a successful showing at the film festivals in the US last year and won a few awards for the fight choreography.  Here is the new reworked trailer with some amazing scenes at the beginning of Hong Kong.

A few months ago I met and worked with Antoine Manceaux, who was in town from NYC to shoot an ad for the Ukranian energy drink Non-Stop.  Watch this wild ride through Hong Kong!!  It's fun!!

A few years back I hosted a series of Jazz Poetry nights, sponsored by Brink Magazine, featuring HK poets and musicians.  It was a casual and creative evening where music and poetry complimented one another in an improvised cohesion.

California Suite is a comedy by Neil Simon set in the 1970s. The comedy is composed of four playlets set in Suite 203-04 in The Beverly Hills Hotel. Simon adapted his play for a feature film directed by Herbert Ross and starring Alan Alda, Jane Fonda, Walter Matthau, Bill Cosby, Richard Pryor, Elaine May, Maggie Smith, and Michael Caine. Ironically, Smith won an Oscar for her performance as an actress who is nominated for an Oscar!!

I'm very excited to hear that opening night went well, it was sold out, and Marcelo's new piece was well received.  The creative vision of my dearest friend Scott Schlexer, this was a true collaboration and there were a few premiers: my friend Ian's Ng music, my other dear friend Jade Young doing the photography for the projected images, and of course Charles Yang on the violin. I've written about all these artists on my pages before, so do look into what they are doing creatively.  I hope this is only the first amongst many times they will collaborate.  Congrats to all!!!
