In constant pursuit of the perfect leather jacket, designer Louis W. unveils his collection for A.P.C.'s Fall 2014. The French imprint showcases a limited range of four distinct silhouettes, all of which draw on the overt masculinity of French and British films from the 1960's. The Ferdinand is executed in plush navy or khaki suede, detailed with Jacquard hits at the collar and cuffs, while the Alain speaks to iconic British lad attire. Elsewhere, the Maurice and Jean Paul jackets evoke workwear sensibilities, one with street-tough diagonal zips at the chest and the other done with premium leather patchwork on the shoulder. The Louis W. for A.P.C. Fall 2014 collection is available now on the brand's website.

Converse CONS is back with a new duo of Weapons from its "Weapon Ray" pack. Both colorways offer a material juxtaposition between the heathered cotton uppers, which are made using a slow-craft jersey production method in Japan, and the technical, semi-transparent bonded Y-bars running down the sides of the ankle. Available in either dark grey and yellow or light grey and red, both with speckled detailing, the two new Weapons are available now at Converse CONS accounts.
Frequently iterated in various forms since the beginning of the year, here Jordan Brand introduces a more refined version of the hallmark Air Jordan 3 Retro for summer. This "Wolf Grey" edition finds the sneaker done up in an enduring grey, black, and white colorway, executed with full grain leather along the paneled upper. A black/metallic grey rendition of Jordan Brand's hallmark 'Elephant' pattern graces the heel counter, toecap, and lace loops, while wrinkled and smooth grey leather juxtapose each other at the forefoot and through the ankle. All these handsome features are offset by a time-tested white midsole, contrasted by a translucent grey outsole. Pick up this version of the Air Jordan 3 Retro at retailers like Wish Atlanta in the coming weeks.
After debuting back in June in a Black/White-Dark Grey colorway, Nike's Free Mercurial Superfly HTM is set to make a return over the weekend--this time in the brand's ubiquitous "Volt" hue. Inspired by the Mercurial Superfly football boot, the unique high-top--the latest collaborative "HTM" endeavor from Hiroshi Fujiwara, design legend Tinker Hatfield, and Nike president and CEO Mark Parker--couples a sock-like Flyknit upper with an integrated Dynamic Fit collar, Flywire support, a leather heel overlay, and a Free 5.0 outsole. Celebrating football's biggest stage with the culmination of the summer's seminal tournament in Brazil, the "Volt" edition of the Nike Free Mercurial Superfly HTM is due out this Saturday, July 12 via NikeLab.
Somewhere in the sun-drenched, arid Los Angeles outskirts rests an oasis at the end of a canyon road. It's here that Mike Jacobs Architecture ambitiously plotted its latest and greatest residential edifice, dubbed the San Lorenzo Residence. Speaking to the tree-blessed surrounding environment, the two-level San Lorenzo is comprised of overlapping two L-shaped structures by a central open living space, adding a sense of security and privacy through its blockage to the surrounding golf course. Steel and glass are the major elements of the facade, allowing natural light and breeze to flow through the home. Elsewhere, a predominantly wooden interior reiterates the exterior foliage. Gardens and pools, enclosed by the 'L' shapes, underline the home's social focus. Enjoy a look through the San Lorenzo Residence above, and head here to learn more about Mike Jacobs Architecture's work.
