Hot off the press from the Sato PR machine is their latest press release of their up and coming "body beautiful" pinup start Pierce Sato. Now it is not often that you get talent on this scale that is so natural and lay back yet is smart enough to know how and when to use other superstars to bolster his career.

Just on midnight last night I got a phone call from my younger brother
from Luxor in Southern Egypt. He was using a mobile phone that did not
depend on the local mobile network and could ring out of the country.
He and his girlfriend were off to Aswan the next morning but he needed
me to contact the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs to let them
know that he and his girlfriend were in Egypt. Fortunately they had an
emergency number that I rang at 10 past 12 and their details were
entered into the database.
While it is apparently safe in Southern Egypt at the moment, they are
scheduled to fly back to Cairo in 4 days and this is where the problem
lies, flights are now unreliable and Cairo is unstable with the
government and protesters fighting in the streets.
Since I posted this my brother and his girlfriend have returned to Australia and are OK. Apparently they has some delays getting from Aswan back to Cairo but once they were in Cairo everything worked OK.

Looks like we have just got Gillard as our next prime minister. Our first female prime minister and now our first elected female prime minister, Gillard is an impressive number, tough as nails, fast on her feet and a redhead. It will be a fun parliament with a 1 seat majority, different rules of debate and perhaps the first time that decisions will be made in the open by members on the floor of the house rather than dirty back room deals done by both parties. We may live in interesting times but at least it won't be boring.

I though I would give this a blast but confess I was more than a little disappointed with the class of the movie. the only saving grace was Mika Ihijii who added some life to the movie.
It started in Japan then shifted to the US complete with machine guns and all of the modern gadgetry and had the feel of a cowboys and indians movie.
I lament the loss of Koichi Ose as the Samurai with far more realistic ninjas. The dubbing may have been terrible but the script was clever and the bad guys were really bad and the good guys were not just useless decorations.
