We've Got Gillard

Looks like we have just got Gillard as our next prime minister. Our first female prime minister and now our first elected female prime minister, Gillard is an impressive number, tough as nails, fast on her feet and a redhead.
It will be a fun parliament with a 1 seat majority, different rules of debate and perhaps the first time that decisions will be made in the open by members on the floor of the house rather than dirty back room deals done by both parties.
We may live in interesting times but at least it won't be boring.
