Galapagos and Amazon jungle

Just got back from the Galapagos and the Amazon jungle. The animals and birds in the Galapagos are fearless. They come right up to you letting you know that this is their turf. While in the Amazon jungle, the animals are more elusive. You know they are watching you all the time. Feeling the power of nature is humbling.

the galapagos giant tortoises meat is like elephants - not an ideal food item for humans, luckily. BTW last time i still saw lonesome george in there.. wondering if he's still there now
