Welcome to Heavy AND profile.
The Heavy Crew rise from the ashes to once again bring you underground sounds of bass destruction. Formed in Jan 2006 on a mission to bring the other side of the spectrum to the hk dnb scene and to promote local, regional talent, the nights started in local bars before progressing to busy club nights proving that Hong Kong was ready for the Heavy sound.
Since 2008 Heavy return after a long vacation and started running the Roots Heavy series and the Bass Monster series on a mission to give more choices to HK nightlife culture . while Roots Heavy bring the positive vibe of Jah blissed Roots Rock Reggae, Ska, Rocksteay , Dub , Dancehall.
Bass Monster series is pushing the sound of Dubstep and Electro -Dub
Heavy has since hosted international djs such as Check1(Tremor,UK), N1D(macau), Glasseye(Russia) Mako(Utopia Music, UK), Mael (Syndicate, Beijing ) Youthman (Audio Unit, Bingo. France), MC didjelirium, Drunk Monk , Bliase (Uprooted Sunshine Sound System, Shanghai) , Dj Ozone (Antidote ,Shanghai) and none other than Pendulum with MC Verse .
