Freedom!
Wednesday, Feb 6, 2008 1:39PM / Standard Entry
Voting for primary candidates is a freedom that we have in the US. The freedom isn't to only vote for whoever we want, but to also not vote. I have many friends and clients who pester those who do not vote, or don't believe in voting. I realize the importance of voting, but freedom is more important then voting. Honestly! Quit telling everyone they should vote esp if they don't believe in the system. I vote for the person that I feel is going to be a good president, but get mocked for my own judgment. Here is a suggestion. Vote for someone you truly feel will do good for this country. I wonder how many people did that today. Instead we all get swept up into the Hillary and Obama drama. The are both shitty candidates, and we are fucked if either gets into office. But hey, what do I know, I'm just another US. Citizen.
Don't get me wrong no republican candidate really pleases me, other then Ron Paul. But then again, I think some of the main republican candidates have more liberal views then Hillary does. She is after all more to the right, just read between the lines.
The Europeans are going to think we are idiots if we get Hillary in office. The "democratic" monarchy that we have created. Bush, Clinton, Bush Clinton? Really, that is a bunch of rubbish. we are mad to think that our country can be run the same way it has been for the last two decades. Much work is to be done.

Go Gravel!

I've been supporting this guy since I first saw his campaign. I'd wear his bloody button if I could get my hands on one. The most popular show he has been on has been on Comedy Central. Come on! Can't we give a guy a chance. Hillary is a fuck up that is lying through her teeth, and I really just doubt Obama can do any change, or will do any change. This guy is smart, funny, and cares about America. Not to mention he isn't wrapped into American BS politics.
Since the Super Bowl is coming up and I like the underdog, I go for the Giants (though I can't compare them to Gravel). Mike is the underdog, he is a smart dog too. He doesn't owe anyone anything, and he is as green as can be. He takes a bloody train to travel for god sake, that is green. I don't think he would take a jet if he could afford one.
I honestly doubt Hillary or Obama will get us out of Iraq, esp since there is so much against us pulling out. We're America we like to punish people until they are limp. Like Mike said, we have already lost, just by going in. He's like a Taoist philosopher. The only thing he lacks is money, but hey I'm an Idealist, I really think that a presidential candidacy can be won without money. That would show big corporation wouldn't it! For those of us that are in the states I just ask, look at the guy's campaign! We all have the right to vote for who we want to vote for, and to not vote. Seriously, I hate it when people bash another's decision to not vote. Its marketing BS, if I had only Hillary and Obama to vote for I wouldn't vote either! That is the beauty of "freedom" its something we lack here in America.
So don't go an vote for Hillary just because she is a woman, that is Bull Shit. That is like me saying I'm voting for Obama cause I don't want another white person to be president. Does anyone see how foolish that sounds. Gravel has 1% he is next to somebody else. He's doing worse then Nader in 2000 and 2004. I give him my vote and my support, cause I know that when it comes down to it, I want to vote for someone who will reshape this sinking ship that we call America.

Yes another miracle pill that is exactly what we need! I think we might have more of these diet pills on the market then makes of cars! I think my main problem is that we have a misguided country who have no idea on how to eat, exercise, or take care of themselves.
Here is the problem, we have kids that are taught to eat garbage food, and self medicate themselves. There is really a drug for everything you can imagine. If you have erectile dysfunction there is a pill, your sad, there is a pill, you can't control your eating, pill. Did we have pills 10,000 years ago? I really think primitive man was much happier then modern day man. We have too many things to worry about: mortgage, bills, love life, education, etc. Life used to be simple way back when. When we didn't have jets, cars, and the internet. Most of the population can't even comprehend what is happening to the world. How did we get off and become this confused being? We are humans, we are at the top of the food chain! The only reason we are is because of our egotistical presence in society. We have ego's all of us. Writing blogs, emails, creating, playing god. We have full control of it, but yet have not clue how to control it (to include myself on this topic).
We are so confused that we can't even take care of our most primitive duties, proper nutrition, shelter, and safety. Too often are we reaching for shit foods, bad relationships, and moldy housing. These all affect our lifestyle these all affect our life.
We all fuck up, but lets try and make the best of our fuck ups. And don't give any money to more pills, or crap! Lets all clear our heads, eat good food, and make rational decisions. Its really quite simple, but why can't we do it?

Honestly I think I've herd every single excuse in the world. I'm a exercise coach, my whole occupation involves getting people to move. I saw this video and I just had to post it. How often do I get excuses from people on not working out or taking care of themselves? Almost every day!
I found this video inspirational and I just thought I'd write about how motivated people are. It is possible to be motivated to motivate oneself and to not make excuses. All too often there are excuses that we make for ourselves for everything in our lives. This video wasn't just about working out it was about everything. One of my primary excuses I make is to push back administrative work. This has led me to have quite a few problems.
I recently injured my shoulder and because of my lack of adminstrative correspondense, I don't have a doctor in SF. My doctor is still in San Gabriel. This leaves me in a pickle because I now don't have the ability to go see an Orthopedic doctor in SF. These procrastinations that we create for ourselves do not do us any time.
I guess we all have to balance out in our lives what events or items in our life we choose to procrastinate and give excuses for. A friend of mine has procrastinated and given excuses for quitting smoking for almost 8 months now. He had quit smoking for a few years and all of a sudden started back up last May! I have heard every excuse in the book to not quit.
What ever it is that you give an excuse for, exercise, administrative work, smoking, etc. get on the ball. Write it down and make sure you do it. It is worth it, and you'll thank yourself in the long run.
Lets make those dreams come true this year!

Family Legacy
Sunday, Jan 13, 2008 3:40PM / Standard Entry
Every year my family gets together sometime during the holidays to spend sometime with one another. For me this is a great time, because I get to hang out with my sister Marsha and my mother. They live in Shanghai at th moment so I only get a chance to see them a few times out of the year. Every once and a while we will have some of my mother's family come along. This year my uncle, David, and his family came to visit. David has three kids, and he brought two of them along. Tim his son brought his girlfriend. Peta, his oldest daughter brought her husband and their two children.
We all started our trip in HK, where we had a chance to do some shopping, clubbing, and god knows what else. All of my siblings were in town as well as my brother-in-law Jon. Jon is responsible for most of the beautiful photography throughout the trip. Who knew he could be the most Asian out of all of us.
A tea house called Mingcha is one of my favorite tea places and we got to ride the Cable car before hand.

One place that we all visited was Lama Island a beautiful place and a even better boat ride.

New years was spent in HK where I got to meet up with old friends, Terrence being one of them. On NYE we all headed to Disneyland for the countdown, which I must say is quite impressive. Despite the fascist, racist, and sexiest views of Disneyland, I enjoyed myself. I remembered why I liked it as a kid. We had the best "host" throughout the park (a little gift from Disney). After watching the Lion King, riding on Jungle Cruise, and riding Space Mountain three times (which is still the best ride). We counted down and hit LanKuai. Where we met up with the usual suspects. A annual family dace off had to take place, and since my other cousins were in town we got real freaky on the dance floor. The robot, rain man, gorilla (yes gorilla), and worm (done by me of course) had to be busted out. And like always time flies going out in LanKuai and before we knew it it was 5 am.

New Years day we spent at the HK racetrack and I can gladly say I didn't lose any money.
On the 2nd we were off to Shanghai, and this would be one of the key elements of the trip. Uncle David had not returned to Shanghai or China for that matter for nearly 50 years. It was here that I received a history lesson on my family tree. As my Uncle and Mother recited their recollection of the past, I realized that this would be a perfect scrīpt for a movie during this time period.
Who's in for the movie? If I write the scrīpt who wants to produce? Who wants to act?
Well Lots more to write, but I have been lagging this blog forever. But for my last picuture lets appreciate how cute my cousin's kid Olivia is.

I originally entered into the health filed to help people. Now I realize that it is not just people that we need to help it is the Earth that we need to help.
I coach individuals to become healthy, look beautiful, and perform better. I do this not because it is a popular industry, but because it is necessary in todays world.
In today's society our logic has been switched and turned upside down. How? you might ask. Look at how we treat our celebrities and others who are idolized. People with money and people who are popular are just people. People who are just as confused about life as every other individual. Do these people know how to take care of themselves? Like you or me they learn from others and ultimately themselves. Always remember the greatest teacher isn't another individual it is yourself. If everyone understood this we would not have so many problems in the world. War would not be an answer because war is just us fighting with ourselves.
To me our creativity is how we become who we are. We are all creative and we all create, so why not create for the health and success of the individual and the world.
