Hello friends!!!!

Thank you so much for coming out last night and supporting all three bands. Although we screwed up a few parts here and there (Kevin's fault Kevin's fault Kevin's fault BWAHAHAHAHA!! just kidding Kev) everyone still had a great time and showered us with love. This is the reason why we do it and to see so many familiar faces in the crowd having a good time definitely brought tears to our eyes......yes really.

Thank you to AnD family, Audiosexy boys, Skot, Ferds, our significant others, the ATP and KT punk rock family (too man y of you gambling addicts to put in here, basically all of our 9th floor and 12th floor buddies) Josie, Daniel Wu, Claire, Tom, Justin and AMP Channel V (can I keep the mic??). That hottie wearing the black and white baseball T and black tight pants (you were our muse that night), my brand spankin new Fender Jazz Bass, 24 HERBS, Stay Gold. Our soundman that night. Ming for Kev support. EVERYONE THAT WAS THERE POGOING ALONG WITH US.

Skot we love you man, we are definitely going to miss you. Please don't forget to come visit us again. You're not that far away so there's no excuse.

Hey boys and gals its been god know how long since we played the last HK live gig..And yes we are back playin this gig this year alongside with our brother band "attention to piss" and taiwanese punk band "stay gold"yes we are back to basics now just playin as much shows we can....Its been a while since we have played a show at the fringe club.....

So if any one is out and about on sep 1st waiting to kill some time before they gotta go clubbin or anything how about stoppin over to the fringe club for a drink and support these "SHITTY LITTLE LOCAL BAND"...

NEW SONG!!! | 新歌!!!

Hello friends, we're extremely proud to announce that we have FINALLY finished a brand spanking new song....it took us all night, but since we were all fired up to get it done, we did it!! WOOO FCUKIN HOO... I'ts gonna be kick ass and we hope that the boys and girls out there enjoy it as much as we had fun writing it. The song made Kevin feel sexy......me too. Joseph actually wanted to go downstairs without his shirt on, no joke.

AND YES we always say the album is almost done.....we're not lying. It IS almost done, just a few tweeks here and there. Crossing the t's and dotting the i's so to speak.

We're busy moving to our new band room too, Kevin wants it to look like the inside of a love motel, or was it KK??....anyway mirrors on the ceiling were suggested...again no joke.

So yeah Hardpack is saddling up for a busy busy few months, we're getting ready to hit the indie scene again......like some famous dude once said, you'll never get where you're going unless you look back where you came from....or some shit like that.. Kinda doesn't make sense to me because if you keep looking at where you came from, you might trip and not actually get to where you're going......HAHAHA NOT FUNNY!! I'm getting the lame joke syndrome from Kev.

Again boys and girls, we're back on high gear and expect lots of good clean fun from the Hardpack boys......!!!!!

朋友們，我們非常驕傲地宣布終於完成了一首全新歌曲…我們卯足了勁，花了一整晚的時間，終於完成了!!哇噻…這首歌真的很棒，希望大家都能象我們寫的時候一樣愛它。這首歌令Kevin覺得性感…我也有同感。Joseph下樓都想不穿T恤了，不騙你。
我們一直說專輯快要出爐了…沒撒謊哦。真的快結束了，只需要再幾周的時間，在你談笑間就要完成了。

我們還正忙著搬到樂隊新的房間裏。Kevin希望裏面看起來象情侶旅社，或者KK說的??...總之，有人建議天花板上裝鏡子…同樣不是玩笑哦。

Hardpack好幾個月都非常非常忙，現在正著手準備拍獨立片…某位著名的花花公子說，你永遠不會到達想去的地方，除非回頭看看自己是從哪裏來的…或者類似的話。我不贊同，因為如果你一直要回頭去看來時的路，那你可能永遠都在旅行，而到不了真正想去的地方……哈哈，一點也不好笑!!Kev把說蹩腳笑話的病傳染給我了。

再說一次哦，Hardpack將帶給你強烈的生命力，期待更多快樂……!!!

Yep....Well what a blast we all had at Yo park!!...Every band and singer played really well..Ferdie was always on fire.....Thanks to everyone who came and watched and thanks to josie,ryan,audio traffic and the ALIVENOTDEAD..COM crew who came out all da way to support!!!...It was awsome seeing you guys and chatting with ya's....Although we were a bit shy to go over and say hi to everyone but you guys and gals have our LOVE!....The best part of the show was that all the bands and artists are good friends and it was so much fun hanging out waiting to play but best of all we al belong here at ALIVENOTDEAD.COM...

The story begins back in 2001 when two local punk rock hooligans (KK vocals/guitar and Joseph guitar/backing vocals) formed what is now known as Hardpack.

Originally, Hardpack burst on to the scene as a 3-piece outfit with Joseph playing drums, KK on vocals/guitar and Nelson on bass. A year later their good friend Nelson decided to bow out of the band and long time punk rock enthusiast, Hang, was recruited to continue.

Ming later joined the band filling in the drums position moving Joseph to 2nd guitar. A fter a year of playing punk rock Ming realized that metal was his roots and decided to leave the band to fill the drummer position for Kinglychee, Kevin (who at the time WAS the KLC drummer) joined Hardpack in a spectacular drummer trade which resulted in Hardpack getting the better end of the deal. Just kidding MING.

Phat from the mighty LMF also decided to join soon after Kevin to take over vocal duties in order for KK to focus on his awesome down picking guitar technique.

Shortly after Ar Hang decided, after a few years of playing in Hardpack that he really can't stand Kevin's bad jokes and KK's constant wearing of silk boxer shorts in the band room ("You can't see it but you know it's there, I feel like it's looking at me"Hang) He decided to leave in seclusion in the mountains of Kwun Tong for a change of atmosphere.

Glenn from the best hardcore band in the world STW, volunteered to join the Hardpack crew soon after in order to help the band continue their very busy schedule. He was SO good they begged him to stay.

Hardpack sound is punk rock on the positive side highly focused around staying happy. Their live show is deeply rooted on creating an atmosphere based on friendship not just with each other, but with the entire audience. An ultimate goal of these 5 young passionate punks is to build up Hong Kong's punk rock scene together with many of Hong Kong's other punks to let people around this city and world over revel in the spirit of punk rock.

Lyrics are churned out from within the hearts of the band and inspired on stuff happening in their lives. Lyrics are also written to mock certain situations or individuals who the band feels deservers ridicule. But ultimately, lyrics are not restricted to any specific topic or feelings who knows what the future holds.

On the other hand Hardpack has had their music on the movie "The four heavenly kings" directed by daniel wu and song arrangments for josie ho.So yes lets see what the future holds for this local shitty band........
