I read an article about how to install x86 Leopard OSX 10.5 onto a set of cutting edge fast computer hardware recently (Chinese):

The system consists of a Core 2 Quad and 4G memory, and few other pieces like video card and so on. I thought I can do the same since I have a big screen LCD TV at home, after checking around with friends, I ended up a very good computer shop with reasonable price where my friend also know the shopkeeper:
http://www.coolpc.com.tw/With a piece of paper listing all the OSX compatible video card (important), motherboard (check out
http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page), with a target on XPC Shuttle case, after 1 hour discussion and bargaining with the shopkeeper, I got all I need with something around 20,000NT. I grabbed a DVD image of iatkos.iso file from Emule, this is the hacked version of Mac OSX Leopard for X86 Intel CPU (someone has modified the kernel to fit AMD CPU already), and below is my step to get this system up and running on my computer. I installed Linux (OpenSuSE), and partitioned the 250G hardisk into 4 primary partition, 1st NTFS, 2nd OSX HFS+ (in my case, fdisk /dev/sda, then tag the 2nd partition id as 'af', important), then 3rd as Linux and 4th as Linux swap. The rest seemed to be easy, insert the iatkos DVD, and boot into installation, remember to go to Diskutilities, and install Darwin Bootloader, otherwise you can also do it when the installation completed (there was no bootloader prompt to install during the entire Leopard installation) by booting from the iatkos DVD.
Right now, I am pretty pleased by the new Leopard system on the XPC system, it is much faster than my Macbook, and looks cool. The only thing does not work is once it sleeps, no wake up, I have to reboot the start the system, and meanwhile I have to figure out how to boot the Linux and XP with Darwin bootloader.
