ABOUT SUITMAN:
YOUNG KIM met SUITMAN 16 years ago on a business trip.
They fast became creative collaborators, where an onslaught of photographs, videos, installations and design objects followed suit. Together, they have travelled throughout six continents, 150 cities, and left 1,000,000 images in their wake.
Their work is cheeky, quirky, relevant, highly engaging and always surprising. Their projects have been published in a wide range of culture/art and lifestyle publications.
They have exhibited widely, both (solo) as Suitman/Young Kim and together for group exhibitions in New York, Tokyo, Paris, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, and Shanghai.
They have collaborated on projects with Yohji Yamamoto and Agnés B.
Originally from New York, Tokyo is currently their home base… But their packed suitcases always stand ready.

ABOUT JOSÉ PARLÁ:
Born in 1973 in Miami to Cuban parents, JOSÉ PARLÁ moved to Puerto Rico at a very early age before returning to Miami again aged nine. He currently lives and works in New York, and only recently travelled to Cuba for the first time. His life — like his work — is therefore at once extremely particular and generally reflective of the wanderings of today’s urban populations.
In the context of these migrations and upheavals, Parlá is concerned with the way that cities function as palimpsests, upon which the experiences of those who pass through them are materially inscribed in decay, in writing, in their inhabitants’ well-worn paths.
Parlá’s work attempts to extract and synthesize fragments of these urban environments in flux, reproducing them using the materials and methods of architectural construction — cement, wood, vinyl — as well as those of traditional art, like paper, paint, powdered dye, wax and ink. As these fragments are inflected by the artist’s memories and experiences, he considers them to be paintings in a sense that is truer than one that refers merely to the physical presence of pigments and oil.
Parlá describes the object of his method as “segmented realities” or “memory documents.” His personal philosophy on his work is called “Contemporary Palimpsests.” Each painting bears the name of the location or experience from which it draws its source.

ABOUT ROSTARR:
Born in 1971 in Taegu, South Korea, Romon Kimin Yang — aka ROSTARR — is a Korean artist who’s been based in Brooklyn, New York, since 1989. He has exhibited throughout the United States, Japan and Europe. His work is defined by an expression he calls “Graphysics,” which is based on Graphic Design + Physics.
Creating in a free form, automatic process, his work weaves an individual vocabulary of iconography and symbolism. Nature, human psychology and mysticism are inspirations that he tries to convey in his art.
His work extends into the mediums of painting, digital media, sculpture, textiles and public art projects with the “Barnstormers” collective, who's he been a core member with since 1999. Emphasis on sponsorships and collaborations with such companies as Nike, Agnés B, Gravis and Yamaha have been an integral part of branding Rostarr internationally.
In 2004, he was recognized as an honouree at the A.I.C.P. show held yearly at the MOMA, under the ‘graphics’ category for his work on the Nike Basketball “Flow” commercial. His first book "Graphysics" was published in 2001 by Alife. In January 2000, he was featured as one of i-D magazine’s “40 under 30,” and his work has been reviewed by Art Forum, Modern Painters, Village Voice, and the New York Times.

關於JOSÉ PARLÁ:
JOSÉ PARLÁ
