• 《愛情研究院》- TVB J2 New Show!

  Hey Guys! It's been awhile huh?

  I've recently been guest on a new talk show showing on the TVB HD (High Definition) channel J2. It's a new and interesting experience for me and I really enjoy it.

  It's a talk show on relationships,  hosts Miki (Yeung) and Cyrus (Chow)  are fantastic and we all have alot of fun discussing the day's topic to no end (on & off camera!) whether it be our love sob stories or funny experiences in dealing with past relationships. There is a TAROT card reading section with Lilith (Ferreira) which I always have a great time...I must confess I am totally fascinated with anything to do with fortune telling...! But have always been afraid to go and get it done myself...!

  I enjoy working on the show because it's a speaking part where I get to be me! ALTHOUGH take note - it's a 'Cantonese' version of me. I don't know if it happens to other people, but when speaking in different languages, I find that I have slightly varying personalities depending on which is spoken. (NO I don't have multiple personality disorder!!!)

  The 'English Grace' is most definitely the full 100% me where I am able to fully and freely express my mind & personality and totally be myself. The 'Mandarin Grace' is now at 95% and right now the 'Canto Grace' is only a 70% representation.

  Because of this, I find that on the J2 愛情研究院 show, I am (in my opinion!) slightly dorky. Yes. Dorky. During filming, I find that there are so many things I want to say but don't have enough canto vocab to fully express my thoughts so I end up with an abbreviated version...so I find that I sound dorky!!! Hahahaaaa...and also I am much more conservative as a person when speaking in cantonese.

  Anyhow, these are just my initial thoughts on being on the show! I will work hard to improve the 'Canto Grace' so she won't be too much of an imposter - bear with me in the meantime!!!

  ***Please note: Dorkiness only applies when Grace is 'canto free-stylin' and will not extend to any upcoming scrīpted shows/characters!!!*** Hahahaaa!!!
