    The images still flash across all of our minds. The blast, the flames, the speed at which it happened. It really opens a person's eyes, heart and soul to the fragililty of our life and our material possessions. These can all vanish ...

    Everything? But to be able to walk away with one's life? So not everything. Burns heal. Rebuild, life starts again. My deepest sympathy for those who lost so much and my joy for those who helped save the lives of those in harms way. My prayers for all who have much to face in the near future... God be with you all.

    That's a horrifying video.  I'm assuming that you got your stuff out or did your part of the building survive?  

    How did this start?  Brush fire? Wiring?  Arson?  

    Very glad everyone's safe but so sorry to hear about the lack of insurance.

    i feel sad for the homeowner who lost his house n  everything but what matters most is he's still alive !  and this is much more precious than anything else.

    I can't imagine how terrible it is. I could only feel the pity for the people who suffered in this fire. And I will pray for the homeonwer. Hope he can get well soon. :(

    In 2001 at Christmas time, bushfires swept through my area. My nextdoor neighbour his house is behind ours and he has a large property most of it bush. I could see the fire from my bedroom window. It was scary stuff, we had all our stuff in the car ready to go just incase his house started to burn. If his went, ours was next. One of the other streets that back down near my neighbour's property all the houses at the end were lost. It was terrible. I could very much imagine what it would be like, because it could have been us.

    I understand the video maybe pretty scary. We are all speechless. The homeowner did not have insurance so everything is 100% gone and lost. Just imagine if everything you own is lost in 4hrs? If you read this and would be kind enough to write a few words, please do. Anything is helpful. The previous blog describes in words but the video provides a visual clipping of what transpired.
