  • Operation: Stress Test

    Leaders called it Operation: Stress Test. Does this make any sense to you as a reader?

    1. Nationalize the banking system ... although this is called a possible temporary resolution (let's start by taking a 40% stake in Citibank).

    2. Sent Hilary Clinton over to borrow more $$ from China (aka. "asking for more aid). Bloggers are outraged and termed it the Hilary beg-a-thon!

    3. Sent 17,000 additional US troops to Afghanistan (Note: Doesn't this cost a lot of $$$ to do this, has anyone looked at this from an affordability standpoint?).

    Am in FULL agreement with MissS ... countries expect the states to step in for them, they should at least repay what has been spent by our nation for their freedom ...

    #3 I kinda think, if we're gonna sacrifice money and the lives of our countrymen to free those countries from evil dictators, etc., they should be re-paying us in natural resources. Life oil from Iraq for example. How many bu-zillions of dollars has the US (and other nations) spend on that country? Yeaaaaaah... Nothing wrong with a little re-payment.
