  • DCAL indicates that high DEB numbered individuals (>900/1000) have the potential to be remembered as legends ...

Due to emails from individual readers (click here to email) asking for high DEB value examples, I have posted some historical examples with videos. Whether it is a voiceover or live stage, high DEB units will get you farther with rave reviews. Here are two artists (Elvis Presley & Frank Sinatra) that have DEB values greater than 950/1000 and you can see what happened with their careers:

Here is Lea Salonga with a 880/1000+ DEB range:

In this clip, as a young artist, she was already capable of hitting DEB units of 750/1000:

Once again, here is Lea after being a mother with a 920/1000+ (notice how her voice carries even during the interview):

Here is David Archuleta in the 700/1000 category (this number can vary on the song and also with practice/time):

Here is one that is in the 500/1000 category (the number maybe affected by the dancing):

Individuals that don't sing with their diaphragm have exceedingly low or no DEB values. They can still be legendary in their own ways:

You scared me for a moment when I saw William Huang.  My mother had a voice that carried.  You'd think she was yelling or loud but her voice just carried.  There was no not hearing her.  I'd been told my voice carried but I began trying to alter because I saw it as a negative.  I really didn't understand everything in the previous DEB entry.  I need to go back and "study" it.

That William Hung thing was dreadful!!! Ahhh Aladdin!!! Brings back memories, I never got to see The Return of Jafar though...*sigh* oh well!!! I'll live.

So...what does DEB stand for? And what exactly is it, can you elaborate more? The only  DEB I'm familiar with is the company that makes instant mashed potato.
