Sorry folks.
This is a bad time to be in Istanbul, with all the political unrest and bombings going on.
Yesterday night my sleep was interrupted by sounds of sirens and blasts from afar.
Guess this is the closest I can be to the sounds of terror and war.
Ain't funny at all.
As much as I want to explore the nooks and corners of this exotic city, I'm confined to the four walls of my hotel room.
Thank GAWD for broadband. At least there's contact with the outside world.

BUT... all's not lost.
I managed to spot a space invader on my way to the city from the airport.. ! Woot !
Made my day indeed !

I never knew such a beautiful island existed in Malaysia.
Excuse my ignorance.

Sleeping and waking to the crashing of waves,
showers with windows wide open facing the sea,
and basking under the sun with nothing but serenity of mind,
were the makes of one of my best vacations ever.
