The hardest thing I did this week

1 commentI'm moving overseas. To Hong Kong, actually. Until today I was really, really excited about the move - the new opportunities ahead, the new friends I would make, the new personal challenges I would face.
And then I had to do the hardest thing I have ever done. I had to say goodbye to my best friend. She was teary; I was teary. The move wasn't meant to have shit moments, but I was all of a sudden right in the midst of one.My best friend has always stood by me. And even today as she fought back the tears she wished me well and promised to stay in close touch. I know she will. I know I will. But I still feel shit.Goodbye my friend.
