• midweek at the farm

  last wednesday i went to "forsythe farms" for busy bee preschool's field trip!! 

  

  i was so amazed by the big pumpkins there.. see how big this one is??

  

  we rode a wagon to get to the pumpkin patch & the kids were unbelievably so behave along the way..that was around just past 9am & the place looked so peaceful..

  the tractor that brought us to the pumpkin patch..& back!!

  had some snacks afterwards & the kids fed the animals too..there were, goats, bunnies, pigs, chickens...too bad i wasn't able to take pictures of them!!!but the trip was nice & the kids were lovely..their amazement & laughters were so contagious,i can't help but smile just simply looking at them..

• a film expo..

  oct 13 is canada's thanksgiving day..having known weeks ago that i'd be off that day, i thought about where could i possible spend it. i heard about a formal luncheon/film expo for singles members of our church but i said "nah!!" never been fond of attending such activities cause most people who usually go there were just attending for the obvious reason..do i have to spell it out??

  but then again, everytime i pass by our bulletin board, i'm getting curious of the posters of that film expo..i was getting interested bit by bit everytime i pass by it but my next problem is, i don't know anyone else who's gonna be attending it & as i was thinking about it - - if i'd attend - - i might end up looking like an idiot in one corner while everybody has their own group..plus, it's going to be held in mississauga & how was i suppose to know how to get there??!!

  yeah!!i have so many excuses but then came my conscience - actually it was marianne  - who said "you don't know anyone yet but that's actually the main point of the get-together - - to meet new people"..i know i know!i was just making a fuzz out of it.. then came anne, who turned out to be the organizer of the event, the only person i recognize there said they'll provide transpo..so all problems solved & to make the story short, i signed in...

  i started that day with a cup of hot coffee & a bagel with cream cheese..

  

  i really needed caffeine that day cause i slept at 2am..much as i wanted to sleep early, there's so much to do at my friend's place - the last was watch j.lo's "angel's eyes"..i woke up before 8am cause there's a baccalaureate mass before the luncheon/film expo..it was an inspiring one..

  

  my ticket..haha!ok fine!i just displayed my name..

  i hitched at anne's car, where i met ivy & haidee..we got there early..or make that "we have to get there early" cause anne & ivy were in-charge of the activity...leaving haidee & me nothing else to do, we started taking pictures..

  

  i wonder who put this id on her..saw it when we arrived

• my recent weekend..

  actually for this long weekend i only had plan for monday  i was clueless as to what to do for the first 2 days..i thought about just cleaning  my room, doing the laundry & hybernate cause it's usually true that when you plan something ahead, it would most likely be spoiled..

  see, i usually spend the weekend just taking pictures cause my friends are so busy doing their own things. but for this saturday, i was suppose to roam around city with a new friend...then came another one asking me to dropby his place for a thanksgiving get-together with his sisters but then our common friend spilled the beans by saying "it's actually his birthday"..then, on my way to meet my first friend, another one called to check on me cause it's been weeks since we've seen each other & i just made it up to her by spending the next 30minutes, just talking on the phone, even if it means not being able to go on the subway yet cause i'll lose my signal..so while stuck in the station, i grab a hotdog sandwich & a rootbeer & my lunch was solved

  as for the two conflict invitations, i solved it by sweet talking my first friend - - inviting her to just come along with me to the birthday first then we'll go roaming around by sunday...she was actually quite hard to convince but i eventually won..

  so we went to the diner-get together-birthday on saturday night...it's just actually a small group. as mentioned, there were less that 10 people.the place was so quiet but when the videoke was set up, the party started.. we got so busy singing that we never remebered to check the time & when i did, it was already 9pm & i needed 2hrs to get home.

  got home by 11:30 that night cause i needed to walk 20minutes from the hi way then woke up 7 the following day for me to catch the 11am service...& yes i had to walk again to the hi way..so on my way that morning, i took these pictures..

• fresh from ireland!!

  marianne came home from ireland today & i was surprised she has MY FAVORITES!!!yee!!

  

  i could kiss her for these  but i just gave her a big warm hug for coming home safe...& for all the DARK CHOCOLATES!! & see, the bookmark has "ireland" engraved on it!! love it!!
