  • swimming..swimming..=)

    before the snow has totally melted i was able to take some more pictures of it - which i just wanted to insert in this blog - as intro..

    it's still cold though - cause it was raining - but i wanted to take a break & go swimming today so despite the rain, i hitched & went to the community center..

    the pool's busy but i was able to find a nice spot..the water is warm & it's so relaxing to just swim & free my mind..being in the pool today made me remember my PE days in high school when the instructor would really keep observing us as we do our freestyle, backstroke, breast stroke & butterfly - which i never really get to do well - but still i passed the exams!! those were the days..

    as for today, i just did lapses of breast stroke cause it's easier to check if i'm about to hit another swimmer i'm sharing the space with..better be careful..but some weren't being considerate..hmph!

    pool's only open till 930am so time to pack up

    & i don't want to tell what happens in the shower room

    it's a good thing the rain has stopped when i was done cause i'll be walking back home..

    it was still cold though so i was wrapped liked an eskimo..

    (had to adjust the cam's color cause i can't see my face beneath this hood)

    i could've reached home in less than 30minutes if it weren't for these sights i wanted to make immortal..

    good morning..

    & i wonder what's beyond this gate??

    but i didn't bother checking it out..cause #1: it's a private property..& #2, i feel so tired i'm already seeking the warmth & comfort of my bed..

  • my first glimpse of snow..

    ohhh yeaaahhhhh!!i finally saw snow today.. but at first i can't really capture it cause they're too tiny & i thought this is all i could get.. Plus, they melted so fast upon reaching the ground..

    but then a little bit later, they kept pouring in..

    & accumulated at the corner of our house..

    even started to cover the outdoor slipper..

    then just after few minutes, our backyard was filled & turned white...i just fell in love with it

    my first glimpse of snowflakes..

  • despite headache, i went apple picking...

    i was really having a bad headache since friday night & i didn't feel like getting up this morning..i just forced myself to get out of bed but my head was really pounding, it's painful enough to kill me..

    hehehe!that's an exaggeration, of course!! but it's bad enough that i really didn't plan to go out today..but marianne asked me if i wanted to go apple picking with them today ..hmmm that sounds like fun so even if i just planned on resting, i said yes!

    it was literally apple picking cause the apples were already on the ground

    this is just one of the trees in there..

    & these are just two of the many lanes of apple trees..

    sorry, these pictures looked like cemetery.. but those were actually labels/names of trees

    & some more autumn leaves..

    after then we went to eaton center..

    hmmm..i just realized this one looks like a tomb marker.. AI YAHH!!

    ok fine!! i'll insert this pumpkin display i captured in the mall..but it surely doesn't look creepy!

    oct 18, 08 - saturday - i was wondering how ordinary things seem to be easily get unnoticed..yet if you really pay attention to them, you would realize how special they can be..

    i have been passing this same road to the hi way & back home but i always seem to find something new everytime..just wanted to share what i got this time..

    the under construction part near our place

    i didn't pick the flower..just hold it in place..

    this rubbish bin's always full but i wonder if how many people paid attention to this ad

    a backpacker & the woods

    who else appreciates this bald tree...

    & this dry leaf beneath me??
