    2 inspiring stories i wish to share:

    SIDDHARTHA



    it is a story of a young man, Siddhartha, who's searching for enlightenment..he is a well educated one, very intelligent knows in his heart that there's still more there is to learn than those being taught by his teachers. so he & his friend Govinda once left their families to join the SAMANAs, gave up all their possessions & denies themselves of all the material things..he learned how to think, wait & fast yet for many years, they still found no peace..until they heard about Gotama. they left the samanas to listen to the teachings of the "Illustrious one".never had siddhartha seen any man so holy but after listening to his teachings, he still feels emptiness..his friend govinda though was convinced & decided to join gotama's followers - only to realize that siddhartha isn't staying.the 2 friends parted ways from here, siddhartha continued with his quest, met a ferryman that brought him to a town where he met Kamala,the cortesan.sidhhartha gained more than what he'd expected in that town - - he learned how to earn money & how to lose them, he never gave that much importance to them cause they mean nothing to him. riches & money never mean anything to him that he's still at a loss of his purpose..he never knew how to love until he had a son who also ran away from him - just like what he did with his father when he was younger..with all his experiences, he realized that no understanding & wisdom can be gained without experiencing them firsthand...in which i'd totally agree...it's true that words are easy to communicate, but not wisdom! people learn from their own experiences, not from that of others...only you can realize & find your own peace!



     L'ENFANT





    a heartwarming story of a theif who sold his newborn son....& how he tried to regain the trust of the baby's mom & change his way of life... very touching!!
