Hi everyone, it's Anrealis speaking! I'm a first year college student at Sheridan for Illustration. I love the school, the teachers, and the new people I meet. And as an 'artist', I love to draw, to write, to read, and to dream.
I love music. I find people who design, manipulate, and create music magic-users. I don't have any preferences to what music I listen to- but I often stick to the ones I can understand. I have played violin for a good eight years, but decided to put that aside to follow my dream in a more visual aspect of arts. Kazu Kibuishi and Jasinski are two of my favourite illustrators. And there are too many authors out there that I adore- The Little Price by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, anything by Neil Gaiman, anything by Jerry Spinelli, Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold, and many more.
Last but not least, anything inspires me. From WongFu Productions to tedTalks. From flying kites to quite walks in parks. From tragic movies to silly animation. From Yotsuba& to 'Hey World Here I Am!'. I take in all, and I (day)dream and draw it back out- in my own way. I love to go back, look at things from my newly developed point of view, and discover things that I may have never seen before.
I'm a very approachable person, even though I usually stay quiet and watch from the guidelines. I sometimes sit quietly by myself, I sometimes join in, I sometimes go all out. Nice to meet you, whoever 'you' may be. Drop a message by and say hi!:)
