Got hit by lightning!

It didn't sound like lightning. It was just a nuclear bomb worthy flash with a simultaneous BOOOM! Scared the shite out of me. Had to hit around the house, somewhere, although we can't find the burn marks anywhere.

It hit my desktop LAN and I can't get on the internet. Wouldn't be so bad but this was already my backup computer. My laptop went south months ago but I was too lazy to get it fixed.

Now I'm highly motivated.

But if anyone actually misses my constant comments (Can't Stop This!) that's the reason.

Talk to y'all later.

Unless my son lets me use his laptop again.

We miss you. You're the mom - you should be able to use son's laptop any time you want. lol. I think repair costs would exceed new purchase cost. Stay away from Dell and any of the Taiwanese-made junk. Go HP! :)

Missed you. If it killed the LAN it might have taken stuff out you haven't noticed yet. Hope nothing bad turns up later. Good wishes & hugs!
