I love this ballet. I have the great good fortune to see it in 1976 performed by the Bolshoi with Vasiliev in the lead role and Besmertnova as his partner. That was the most exhilarating ballet performance I have ever witnessed. I was 18 and walking on air when it was done. The Khachaturian score is marvelous as a ballet score. Who staged it for you?
