I watched "This Is It" for the 4th time today. Mj is truly a genius, and each time i watch the film, i can't help but feel sad, touched and mesmerised.
It's the first time I've watched a movie 4 times, and It's all worth it. THIS IS IT....
I feel blessed to have attended both the "Dangerous" and "HIStory" world tours in Singapore. It's the closest i have been to meeting MJ face to face. The excitement that filled the air was something unforgettable, something that will forever live in my heart. Magic that only Michael could deliver.
Of the 4 times watching the movie, twice were together with a friend. Both of them were not really MJ fans. One of them has never even heard most of MJ's signature tunes before, he kept asking me questions throughout the movie. When MJ was singing "Earth Song," he was totally surprised by the lyrics to the song, he never knew MJ would write such songs! He was initially adamant about not watching it, only after my constant prodding and my offer to pay for the ticket that he, reluctantly, agreed to watch.
The common thing that happened between the both of them was only through this movie did they realise the genius that is Michael Jackson. According to them, it was an "eye opener," and that they've finally "discovered the man for who he truly is." Alas, he's left this world. Michael has left the building.
Always treasure the people around you before their gone. This is something we all have to learn, something i have to learn.
Everything starts with us...the human revolution....
To quote what Michael said in the movie, "they, they who? It all starts with us, it's us!"
