"Hello, Weixian ah? I'm Lawrence's brother. Just to let you know that my brother just passed away." Shocking words that shook me to the core. My close friend Lawrence has died, and it wasn't a joke!Still reeling from the shock of his untimely demise. Rest in peace my dear friend. Will write more on our friendship..."Born to amuse, to inspire to delight, here one day, gone one night. Like a sunset, dying with the rising of the moon,Gone Too Soon."- Michael Jackson

I watched "This Is It" for the 4th time today. Mj is truly a genius, and each time i watch the film, i can't help but feel sad, touched and mesmerised. It's the first time I've watched a movie 4 times, and It's all worth it. THIS IS IT....I feel blessed to have attended both the "Dangerous" and "HIStory" world tours in Singapore. It's the closest i have been to meeting MJ face to face. The excitement that filled the air was something unforgettable, something that will forever live in my heart. Magic that only Michael could deliver.Of the 4 times watching the movie, twice were together with a friend. Both of them were not really MJ fans. One of them has never even heard most of MJ's signature tunes before, he kept asking me questions throughout the movie. When MJ was singing "Earth Song," he was totally surprised by the lyrics to the song, he never knew MJ would write such songs! He was initially adamant about not watching it, only after my constant prodding and my offer to pay for the ticket that he, reluctantly, agreed to watch. The common thing that happened between the both of them was only through this movie did they realise the genius that is Michael Jackson. According to them, it was an "eye opener," and that they've finally "discovered the man for who he truly is." Alas, he's left this world. Michael has left the building.Always treasure the people around you before their gone. This is something we all have to learn, something i have to learn.Everything starts with us...the human revolution....To quote what Michael said in the movie, "they, they who? It all starts with us, it's us!"
I'm totally devastated by the death of the King of Pop. At the same time, i feel that he is finally liberated, and in a way, i feel happy for him. Michael Jackson has played, and will always play, a huge role in my life. My deepest condolences goes to his 3 children. Even though I wasn't able to meet up with the King in my life time, i hope that i could meet his children and talk with them someday.Rest in peace Michael Jackson. I'll always pray for you.
