Hey Fam!

THE FLAVORED ANIMAL DROPPINGS MIXTAPE IS OUT!!!! We were gonna do a cool full-scale promotional push for this…but we got too excited…we just wanted to share the new music with yall as soon as possible…so expect a lot more cool stuff coming from us over the next few weeeeeeeks…..

While promoting our current album 'Folk Music'... and before we finish our new album 'ANIMAL'... we decided to experiment with something different. We locked ourselves up in an abandoned torta/fried chicken kitchen in Downtown LA's skid row for a few days, and just like the A Team.. we rigged a recording set up out of an empty can of beans, fishing wire and a broken Playstation 2. We call this new FM sound "STEREOFUZZ". We wanted to bring yall something grimey and hard hitting before we finish our studio album, just so the family can see another side to FM...

Alot of the ideas for this mixtape we're inspired while working on our new album "ANIMAL"... and alot of the lyrics are sh*t we gotta get out of our system.. and we bringing a new flavor.. therefore.... FLAVORED ANIMAL DROPPINGS.

hey yall!

we found a few pics from the show last sunday so we figured we'd share them with yall...if u missed it...u MISSED OUT! if yall came out tho, thank you so much for supporting...it was a GREAT event...all the performers held it down, the bbq was delicious, and altho we had a few sound problems during our show, the energy from the crowd was AMAZING and we fed off that...plus we raised over $6000 for the charity! we're proud to have participated...it really shows how much the scene has grown since a few years back...

FM (also known as “The Far*East Movement”) was formed by emcees: Kev Nish, Prohgress and J-Splif. The three childhood friends found their love for music fresh out of high school and created recognition for the group in the Los Angeles underground scene through energetic live shows and a strong Internet presence.

Forming Catch Music Group with manager Carl Choi in 2004, the group has since developed into a rising force destined for World recognition. The group has achievements on an independent level that some major label groups could only dream to attain. FM has embarked on 2 World Tours (including the USA, South America, Canada, and Asia), signed distribution deals in Japan and Korea (Avex Network and JF Productions respectively), garnered multiple features on MTV World, and also featured music on worldwide media such as “CSI,” “Fast & Furious Tokyo Drift” and “Finishing the Game” (a featured film at Sundance 2007).
