So, November 15th was his tournament. I didnt get to take much pictures since I was helping out taking registrations and spectators fees. I basically sold tshirts and helped out with anything I could. Here are a few pictures I did take.

Glad I was able to be there to lend a hand.

So, Today is the 29th of Sept and I will be leaving in 5 days to China!! I am so excited! I cant wait! I got a call from Master Li last night reminding me of my schedule and wanted to make sure I have things I need packed and ready to go. So nice, he sounds like my dad, making sure my sister and I are prepared and warning us of how much walking we will do. So, our flight leaves Sunday morning and we will be there on Monday. Others will arrive Friday so my sister and I have a few days to spend there to explore by ourselves. Well with Master Li as our guide and I guess its custom not to leave us by ourselves.. I think..
So, I am prepared, I cant wait!

I'm so excited! I am now starting my countdown on my trip to China. I got my visa, plane ticket.
So Happy! I will be traveling with my sister and we will be there 4 days before everyone else shows up.
I am working extra hard doing my massages and learning some acupuncture with my boss teaching me. She allows me to feel how that needles goes in where a person has a mass vs the area where there is no problem. Its great to learn this way. I am happy to say that patients are happy to let me learn with the Dr. help.
As for training, I partially tore a ligament in my knee and couldnt walk the next day and waking up to shooting pain at 3am and unable to sleep. I went to see my boss about it and mentioned about going to the hospital later that day. Instead she did acupunture on it and I could walk after the treatment. Although I still feel some pain in the area but I need to warm up alot before doing any training. I still cant do any kicks because I am unable to extend my knee without any sharp pain. I can jog again, which is good. But at least I am able to train and hopefully it wont be a problem while I'm in China.
Well, thats it.. Take care everyone..

So, while I was sitting on my bed getting ready for the day, I had on in the background the Olympic coverage on T.V. So, I was thinking about my day, wondering what I was going to do since I have been so busy with work and training, I thought.. hmm.. I can study some kanji's I need to learn for my Japanese Kyokushin class.. Then in the background all I hear was.. Next Jet Li, the all time Martial Artist of China.. So, I turned and started watching the interview. It was great because it did show some clips of the Beijing Wushu Team practicing.. Then a small clip of Wu Di speaking, great english too! Then Jet Li was speaking about his passion, The One Foundation. Made me happy to hear how passionate he is about giving back to his country. This made my day.
So, other than that, my sister and I are leaving on October 5th to Beijing with Master Li to spend a few days there before everyone else comes. I cant wait to go! He is going to take up to 798 studio? My sister is an artist so she asked about going to some places to take pictures to set up her portfolio so she can apply for her Masters Degree in Art. Any suggestions where else to go for some art scenes? We are up to anything!
Well, this has made my day, knowing that we will be traveling to China earlier than others and spend a few days there on our own. All I need now is to buy a video camera!
