I had the opportunity to meet Dr. Shi of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.  My boss studied at his university while she was training for the Chinese Army.  She met him in California while he was teaching in San Diego.  She brought him back to Arizona to see a patient he has treated 2 years ago while they went to China.  This person needed help since they had tumors along their ovaries and was unable to have kids.  Well, he did treatment for 2 whole weeks and she received 2 treatments a day.  She is now in her 7th month and just had her baby shower.  He was happy to see that she was successful in getting pregnant and able to hold the baby.  While he was here, he was able to treat several patients that suffer from Parkinsons, Stroke, and even Lupus.  Several people were there for pain management.  I was lucky enough to watch and video tape his work.  I dont even have my LAc. license but I was still able to watch.  I was told by my boss that only people were allowed to study that way only if they were going for their PhD or have completed 4 years of school.  I was very honored.  While he was resting in his hotel room, I offered to do some bodywork on him since he has been traveling for 2 weeks.  I was able to do more than an hour work and he was feeling lighter.  The pain in his shoulders/neck and feet were gone.  I was happy to help!  After the work we went to have dinner.  I am very happy and grateful on this experience and wanting to go back to China and visit his school in Tianjin.  Maybe next year.  Tomorrow I have to apply what he taught on my boss! 

Okay.. My arm has healed and I am now working full time doing my work again!  I will never forget the pain I had while I wasrecovering.  I can finally do a full push up and control my double fans again! 

I have been busy with work and family.  I recently went to Colorado for my nieces wedding over the weekend and also went back to the reservation to visit family and friends.  I havent been back to practice in about 2 months with all this preparation of weddings and work.  Ah.. I cant wait to start back again!  For now, I carry my fans with me to continue the arm exercises that has helped me alot.

So..  I went to Las Vegas for a concert and I got hurt.  I tore a tendon in my left arm which left me to use only one hand to do everything.  It was so painful that I went to the hospital and got x-rays but lucky nothing was broken.  This happened o March 6th and today I am happy that my boss has been working on my arm for the last 2 weeks and I am going to try to do some work on Friday.  Of course my job is massaging, we will see how I do on 2 people.  Light work of course.  I was told at the hospital that it will take 3 months to get 75 % better as opposed to 3 weeks of acupuncture.  I cant wait to have full function of my arm again, I feel useless. 

I probably wont be able to participate in the tournament next month!  I was suppose to fight!!

I started going to school again.  Community college.  I need 15 more credit hours to transfer to the acupuncture school so I can only hope for next year! 

I will be going to Washington state for a tournament in April, my first in this style I'm training in.  Scared, I'm the only girl in the group.  I just hope I do well. 

March and May I will be in Vegas for a weekend each for concerts.  I cant wait!  Too excited!..

Not much going on with me.  I have been working, going to school, and training.  All combined takes all my time.  I recently got sick with a cold yesterday and is almost gone!  So glad to be working for an acupuncturist!  I got the needles as well as herbs. 

Well, got to go, must do my homework for tomorrows class!
