Firstly thank you to all of you that attended e.v.e.n.ts Speak up! last night. Another amazing night and every time just gets bigger and better! Thank you to all the talented artist's who performed, you are all stars!

Get out your headshots, and polish your juggling skills. It's time to promote yourself in November!

e.v.e.n.t is hosting its 6th artist's SPEAK UP! in HK, this Wednesday night!

If you have still not experienced a slice of the arts and a night in HK to EXPRESS your ideas , listen and watch up and coming artists , PROMOTE any events, acts , launches or parties OR just to NETWORK with like minded people...then get down to Philia Lounge this Wednesday night.

October SPEAK UP!

Hey AnD!

First off, we here at E.V.E.N.T. would like to congratulate Hong Kong as a whole, for really stepping up the creative scene here in the past few months. With companies like Alive not Dead, monthly events like Pimpin Aint Easy and SPEAK UP!, we have seen a real improvement in the city we all love to hate.

That being said, we wanted to say thank you again to everyone who has shown support for E.V.E.N.T. in the last view months. Last Wednesday night was another wonderful success and Speak Up! is getting bigger and better! If you havn't been to one yet, in the words of Patrick Lee, "You are not my friend". Just kidding, but there is a little truth in that. We all hope that if you are interested in the arts, you too are working to do your part, even if it is to come down and enjoy a drink and a wonderful voice over the piano. Or Guy and a Girl doing their thing on the guitar, AMAZING!

A very special thank you to the alive not dead team for your constant support in the arts and belief in E.V.E.N.T. and SPEAK UP! We feel blessed to have a place to value the arts and be heard!

We showcased some incredible talent last week and are always looking to promote new artists. The next Speak up! will be held again at Philia lounge on November 5th. We are getting the line up together now so if you are interested in performing, send us a message or email us at info@artisteventscompany.com.

Special Thank You to all the performers from last week and everyone that got on the mic in a self riteous attempt to promote their work. Thats what were here for! Thanks to Heidi Mak and her crew, DJ Constant Lee, Guy and a Girl, Kai on the trumpet and especially the whole CB Fresh crew.

Remember, come out next month, look, listen, and SPEAK UP!

e.v.e.n.t is hosting its 5th artist's speak up! in HK this Wednesday night!!

THIS WEDNESDAY NIGHT:

We have a great line up! Some surprise performances so Get yourselves down to Philia lounge this Wednesday night and Speak up!

8pm-9pm DJ Constant Lee

9pm- Chilled out acoustic set by "guy and a girl"

930pm-open mic

940pm- CB Fresh "Once in a lifetime sneak peek"

10pm-Kai on the Trumpet and DJ Re- Flex

1030pm-music performance by Heidi Mak

We will also be actioning off mannequins designed by local artists.

Hi guys,

So far E.V.E.N.T has presented one major event " Sensory Runway", 4 Speak ups! ( Where artists have a voice and showcase and promote their work), and have supported several other events.

We are planning a few major event and host an exciting night out called " Speak up!" on the first Wednesday of every month. The next one will be Wednesday,October 1st. Speak up! is a great night to network, promote and BE SEEN.

We also have a facebook group and would love your support. Please join the group and we will always keep you informed on up and coming events and artist's. Also this is where we will post any news about live gigs for artist's if you would like to be showcased!

EVENT is the brainchild of co-creators Roger De Leon and Kate Sullivan who have founded a company as an international and creative hub for artists, designers, musicians, dancers and filmmakers to showcase a broad spectrum of untapped talent. EVENT strives to bring all types of creative media to the masses in its pure and original form.

Amidst the hustle that makes up Hong Kong, this city, and many like it are at the verge of losing the very artistry and creativity that makes it great. E.V.E.N.T.’s goal is to showcase both international and local artists through all available forms of media, in an attempt to salvage and revitalize all genres of existing and budding talent, and bring this to the masses.

E.V.E.N.T. arranges all aspects of a production from bookings to presentations. Along with showcasing talent, EVENT encourages companies to get involved in the arts and use this to help promote their enterprise. Our expertise spans several industries and caters to corporate, entertainment and personal events. We give businesses, artists and private organizations the opportunity to promote themselves through which ever medium they see fit.

E.V.E.N.T. holds LIVE forums each month called SPEAK UP! that allow creative minds from various backgrounds, to come together to workshop ideas network and perform; all in the search for new and budding talent.

E.V.E.N.T. also holds a Hip Hop showcase in Hong Kong called GROUNDED. This event showcases Hip Hop, past present and future, bringing in DJs from all over the city and abroad to play Old School, Funk, Breaks, Bmore and Underground Hip Hop.

Every few months, E.V.E.N.T. hosts themed events, allowing artists from similar backgrounds to be showcased and grow from each other’s knowledge. These events benefit the artists involved, by allowing them the recognition they deserve.

With the growing number of artists that join our community, E.V.E.N.T. also gives the opportunity to teach their talents through classes and seminars. Production space is available through the E.V.E.N.T. office for artists to arrange group sessions or one on one classes to help others improve or learn new talents. In addition to individual classes, E.V.E.N.T. artists venture into schools to share with students, the tools necessary to be successful in a creative medium. Through performances, practical workshops, individual and group teachings, artists use their expertise and real world experience to show students all the possibilities that lie ahead of them.

Serving as an artist’s agency, E.V.E.N.T. gives representation to those in the arts scene as well as allows companies searching for talent an extensive database to find international and local acts.

E.V.E.N.T. engages audiences, stimulates new ideas and enriches the ‘art culture’ within the community. Event will continue to grow and work close with artists, stimulating minds and embracing visions.
