hey guys. As you may have noticed I haven't hardly updated since last week! Its been a crazy last couple of days (Ryan Hui's CD event, Legend FC Flier teams (x3!), City of Nites finale and Mavis Fan's Taipo gig... too much! Also I squeezed in a quick visit to see Daniel's installation at the West Kowloon park as part of the HK-SZ architecture Biennale.
Dan's blog entry about it is here:

He did a small get together to get friends together to see it at night. Thankfully our friends at the W-hotel helped with some food too (cause I was starving by the time we got there!) between my three hamburgers I took a few pics.

I took these by leaving my camera on a post w/ a long exposure setting.

view from the inside. I expected it to be a full circle, but its actually only about 70-80 degrees of a circle. but as this area has a natural embankment on the back side, it forms a nice separated area from the rest of the park.

aforementioned BBQ. quite good.

some tables and sound system to help people enjoy the light show.

i'm not exactly sure why, but someone from the JC group brought segway scooters... believe it or not in all my years of working on micro-gyros (even visiting the factory where they make the Segway's gyros), I never actually rode one. now I can say I have. Quite fun. if only they were street legal in HK!! (...I'd be barreling down the sidewalk running over grannies on a daily basis!)
anyway, go check out Dan's piece, its there til the end of Feb. I think.
