Martial Artist and aspiring actor Eskindir Tesfay was born in Eritrea and raised in Germany. After discovering his affinity for martial arts, Asian culture and Hong Kong cinema at an early age, Eskindir later dreamed of a movie career in Asia. While living in Taiwan between 1999 and 2005, he studied the Chinese language and martial arts. In Taiwan he also gained his first experiences in front of the camera doing modeling jobs and TV commercials.
By now Eskindir has been working for various national and international films as an actor, stuntman and martial artist. In 2010 Eskindir was nominated for 'Best Fight' at the Taurus World Stunt Awards in Los Angeles.
Currently Eskindir is preparing for his second leading role in a feature film.
