    Hi. First time here!

Your fingers must hard and rough for playing bass, aren't they? Have always wondered about that.

Thank you for dropping by Eric!!! It will take me sometime to check out all your works (thanks for the websites address) but I will definitely check them out and report back; can't wait :-) It's really really nice again seeing a local artist...thanks heaven for the foggy SF weather...so we get to see your website.
    Have a good nite.

Just glancing at your blogs I see you're a super serious musician.  People don't just mess around with jazz, you definitely have to know what you're doing, especially playing bass.  My knowledge of jazz is definitely spotty so, anything that you're listening to is probably news to me.  I like the bossa groove, though.  I'm a big fan of Caetano and a lot of the MPB guys of his generation and the way bossa nova influenced a lot of what they were doing in Brazilian pop.  About the smartest pop music on the planet, that Brazilian stuff.  I'm also a big samba fan.  Someday, maybe, I'll make it to
Brazil.  But Hong Kong is calling louder these days.  But I mustn't forget that my license plate says "BRAZLNUT".  I've been into the music for close to 20 years.  Then flamenco obliterated all other signs of life for 10 years, and now its all manner of Hong Kong pop culture.  Funny, I've been around the world, virtually at least, and yet have hardly left this corner of NC in 20 years (except for 4 trips to Spain).  You have to love the internet.

    heh heh biofeedback! classic.

In the mid 80s they made an electric hat that you could play twinkle twinkle little star with after a couple of months practice.

Think about the possiblilities for people with physical disabilities though... no invasive brain surgery, just pop on the electrodes! And bob's your uncle... 3 extra arms. Now that's what every piano player has always wanted.
