Starting to feel crappy.
Post nasal drippy.
Coughing hard
Ribs feel bruised
Not sure if it's bronchial irritants
Allergies
Or if I have walking pneumonia
AGAIN
Why can't it walk over to someone else
I don't need the company
Ruining my November
Can't visit Mickie
Meeting Creepy Clown, Peachey, and Butter
Is up in the air
Never know if I'm contagious
We're having pneumonia weather
Not sure why I typed this way.
This ain't no damn poem.

You're not watching these shows because...

I bet you wish you knew what they were saying. And if you do, I bet you wish you knew what happened earlier in the episode. You can stop Aisha, FESHA, JAC, vanness08, and I from having all the fun at any time. We'll let you into the dramawatchers club. We're not exclusive. Plus, our boy just posted he's got the #1 show in Taiwan. It's worthy of the title. C'mon. We'll tell you where to find english subbed files of Autumn's Concerto. You know you want to.
By the by, I don't have to mention Lumina to you guys again right? Definitely a great show. Very creative. ALREADY IN ENGLISH. You have no excuse.

Les Maison en Petits Cubes
Friday, Nov 13, 2009 8:37AM / Standard Entry
stolen from Yenc
Les Maison en petits cubes (The house in small cubes) is what happens when art and social conscience meets animation. It's very French in its look like the award winning Les Triplettes de Bellville (The Triplets of Bellville). It's only 12 minutes in length and very touching.
Thanks Yenc for posting. The embedding of the files were stopped so just click the links:

Dramas dramas everywhere..
Monday, Nov 9, 2009 6:30AM / Standard Entry
'Tis I, Queen Drama Ho! I think I should copy Boon and get a sign: Will Ho for Fansubs. I have no clue what I was watching or had recently finished the last time I mentioned Asian dramas. (Why are they called dramas instead of tv shows? Even the comedies are called dramas. What's up with that?)
The last week of October I watched Soul, a Korean supernatural thriller. It was damn good. It was well written and acted. The overall production was excellent. It had everything I love. Suspense, murder, investigation, crazy people, and ghosts...ahhh how I love ghosts. It also had a rarity. I didn't guess the entire stroy by the 2nd episode. I usually see a set up coming a mile away or 10 episodes away as the case usually is, but not this time. Sure, I guessed some things, but not everything, especially the end. I have to hand it to the Koreans. They don't hold back when it comes to creating truly evil characters.
Currently, I'm watching Momo Love and it's a struggle. I don't like the way it's filmed. I don't know what filter they used but to me it's hazy. It could be the file quality or my eyes, but I don't think so. The show is chock full of good looking men (minus D'Artagne, who I believe was supposed to be in it), but they're not enough to keep my attention. The story is about a young lady (maybe around 19) with 5 older brothers. The 4 eldest have a ridiculous sister complex to the point where you think maybe they love her a little too much if you catch my drift. The youngest of her brothers is treated like crap and, though he loves his sister, he doesn't have a complex about her. He takes the orders of the 4 eldest as not to get his butt kicked. In comes Jiro Wang, bro #5's ex-classmate, an all around good guy, and her first crush. In the last episode I watched they added a spunky (perhaps slightly violent) female character. I like her. I don't like to quit watching things, but I'm bordering on yelling "NEXT!"
Speaking of next (and D'Artagne)...
So far, Autumn's Concerto is excellent. If he had to make a choice between one show or the other he made the right choice. I'm a little upset with myself because I read the wiki synopsis and it's a huge spoiler. It tells you the entire show, specifically the plot points. I felt like slapping myself for reading it, lol. The acting is so good that it overcomes my knowing what's going to happen. The cast is great and our boy has certainly stepped up his game. Well, I think he has. It seems to me that VanNess has added depth or new elements to his acting. I think he's breaking down his own barriers and is able to put more of himself into his characters, which is ultimately what an actor has to do. Usually, I don't like lead actresses. I don't know why. It's the hater in me I guess. Very few lead actresses float my boat. They usually annoy the hell out of me and make me want to beat them like they owe me money. It's not the actresses faults really. It's the crappy writers love of weak willed, needy, submissive, and/or self righteous female characters. (You need to see My Lovely Sam Soon for a fantastic female lead.) The actress that plays Van's character, Ren Guang Xi, love interest, well first love interest & soul mate, is great! Even the little girl that played her as a child was good. This is one of the better all around drama casts. Trust me. You guys have seen my drama list. You know how long it was. Like Scrooge's chain I've been working on it since.
Synopsis in lieu of the wiki spoiler (I forget names so forgive me):
Ren Guang Xi is a spoiled rich kid, prone to mood swings, violent outbursts, and seemingly enjoys getting into trouble. His rebellious nature was apparently sparked by the death of his beloved father, a music professor. Liang Meu Chen (hey I actually think I got that right) was once a rich child who loved piano, but with the death of her father she and her stepmother become destitute. The stepmother takes up with the first man that shows them kindness, but Meu Chen is guarded and uncomfortable around him. The 2 cross paths as Guang Xi is trying to rid himself of his conquest du jour and Meu Chen is rushing home from an odd job helping a fisherman. Thinking they'd never see each other again the 2 part ways, but later wind up on the same college campus. They develop a sort of un-friendship that turns into much more, especially when Guang Xi realizes the things they have in common. Of course his powerful mother is against her only son dating the Stinky Fish Girl. Instead she pushes him toward the medical student with the even more powerful father in the hopes to save her business. An illness splits the 2 lovers apart and they find each other after 6 (?) years, a marriage, and a child.
Alright that's the best I can do after only seeing 5 episodes. I owe Van and the writes a debt of gratitude. I will NOT be having the spinal tap that a doc wants to give me. I already have a bad disc right where they tap. I hate for people to touch my lower back. I fear needles. I have an extremely low threshold for pain. NO WAY I can stay stil while they tap me like a maple. I'll keep my own syrup thank you very much. I watched his character get that thing and my back started pulsating. I wanted to cry for him. My sister has had one and she saw that bit on Concerto and said, "Yeah that's about right." Oh heyll naw. I'd wind up paralyzing myself.
Note re: my comment on Van's acting:
To be honest this is the first time I've seen Smiley (damn how many names do I have for this man?) in a lead role in a drama so maybe he was always this good. In the movies I've seen he's usually fighting someone and leaping in the air. I learned from my own experiences that if you're not willing to dig deep and find some of yourself for a character, your phoning it in. His acting deepened my opinion that he'd be a good psychotic. I dunno why or how I came by that opinion, I just did. I think he'd be a good crazy. People always think to play psychotic killers actors get to cut lose, but it's the opposite really unless you're in a horror movie running around with an axe or something. You have to somehow have quiet rage so your character can seem normal and functional to those in his everyday life. It's not easily done or written which is why we see writers using the ever so popular schizophrenic angle, but I believe he can do it. The actor also has to be charismatic. He is that. I still think if they make a Bleach live action movie he'd be a great Ulquoirra Cifer (emotionless upper level akuma/demon) or Uryu (intelligent, calculating, warrior with a dry sense of humor and a love of sewing who befriends those he's supposedly hates; he'll kill them later). They'd have to bring the leads out of high school though.

Damn Boobie Honker
Wednesday, Nov 4, 2009 1:16PM / Standard Entry
Is it just me or does any other female on here think Rob Lok (see his profile pic at the right under Fan of) look like he's a boobie honker? I swear to God everytime I see that photo I think the man is reaching through the net to grab my breasts like a perverted old man near the melons in the market. My reflexes automatically take over as I move my arm to block what looks like a painful encounter. He's coming in and there's nothing you can do to stop him. Dang pervy clown. If I knew his mailing address, I'd order him some fake business cards:

I'm a lover of art and the artists who share their abilities. I wouldn't mind finding inspiration for my writing. I'm an undercover nerd and once considered a career in archeaology. 5 good adjectives to describe me? secretive, real, wise (I've got common sense to spare), somewhat silly, & eccentric. Yeah, I'm also a little weird, but I have a killer (sometimes underappreciated) sense of humor. I'm also a Reiki Master, but shhhhh! don't tell.
