  Here is some of the recent news about Emily Liu:

  *Catch Emily starring on the big screen this fall in the upcoming Magnolia Pictures release, A GOOD DAY TO BE BLACK & SEXY, directed by Dennis Dortch.  The film was a hit at the 2008 Sundance film festival.  
  
  *Watch Emily in the season premiere of LINCOLN HEIGHTS (ABC Family), playing the role of reporter, Monica Moyers.
  
  *Emily will be guest starring in the nighttime soap, GENERAL HOSPITAL: NIGHT SHIFT on Sept. 2nd (Soapnet).
  
  *Emily recently performed on stage in Julie Marie Myatt's, BOATS ON A RIVER, at the Skirball Center for L.A. Theatre Works opposite Emmy award winning Gregory Itzen ("24").  The radio play will air on NPR this fall.
  
  *Emily's feature film as a producer/actor, THE TROUBLE WITH ROMANCE, directed by Gene Rhee and starring David Eigenberg (Sex and the City), Jordan Belfi (Entourage), Kip Pardue (Remember the Titans), Roger Fan, and Jennifer Siebel (who also produced),  will soon be released in 2008!  Check back for more details, or visit: www.sweetvioletfilms.com

  *Emily currently has national commercials running for Cisco Systems and Land Rover.
  
  *DVD's of Lane Nishikawa's, ONLY THE BRAVE, where Emily plays a primary love interest in a WWII movie about the Japanese 442, starring Jason Scott Lee, Tamilyn Tomita, Jeff Fahey, and Pat Morita, are now available at www.onlythebravemovie.com
  
  *Emily recently spoke on a panel for Women Leading in Entertainment at the National Assoc. for Asian American Professional conference in Los Angeles.  She also was a keynote speaker at Notre Dame.
